I lost everything to a career at the post office. I was demanded to sacrifice my life for the post office because it was finally a livable wage after years of struggling so I did so I could make sure the one I loved and my cat were comfortable and didn’t have to suffer like I had my entire life. I lost friends due to a lack of time and energy. 12-14 hour shifts not counting travel time 21-35 days in a row before an off day in which I was harassed till I came in. I had no life all I had was a job delivering Mail on foot in the southern weather and for what? Diagnosed PTSD, no friends, a broken heart, and the inability to function in a normal working environment now. I had already been listening to you on TikTok and KZbin/Spotify but this song came out right when I needed it most. I’ve always struggled with suicidal ideations and I had never needed support as much as I did in that moment and this song was there. Music has always been important to me but I thought it was always a bit cheesy that people saying “this song saved me” but I do understand why now. Things have not been easy for me since then but listening to this song on a regular basis helps so much. I love your other songs too both original and covers but I just wanted to let you know that your music makes a difference. I know you may not read this and that’s totally okay I hope you are doing well and are happy regardless! Be safe and live your life happily! I can’t afford to come see you preform in New York but I still wish you a wonderful show and sending wonderful vibes.
