I'm Irish, the very 1st time I heard this song I was 23. My ancestors are Scottish and this song hit me hard!! The affinity I feel for Scotland is so strong. Flower of Scotland makes a part of me burst with inner pride and a love for the great land of Scotland!!🏴🏴🏴 Love you people!❤️🏴❤️

I'm both Irish & Scottish, living in N.Ireland... we're quick to point fingers here, the British vs IRA, the Scots taking Ulster... but lets not forget that before all of that, The Scots clan came from Ireland and took Caledonia from the Picts to create Scotland. We've all hurt each other on these wee isles, and its okay to reminisce with a long forgotten nostalgia. This song gives me that nostalgia, and it's so very healing for the soul

Absolutely loved this! I moved to Scotland 7 years ago from Japan and fell in love with the country. Now I am settled here and married to a Scottish lassie. Now the idea of ever leaving my adopted home is heartbreaking, so I know what you mean about it being hard to sing. I am sat here greetin like a wee wean haha Thank you so much for this ❤️

Hi, I'm a Mathieson from Highland Scotland and believe my Clan went to Norway 🇳🇴 hundreds of years ago to fight for the Scottish King. It was a disaster but s stayed there and never came home. They were accepted by the locals as they fought well. I see Matheson name is still in Norway to this time.

I live in Newfoundland, Canada. Newfoundlanders heritage is based on Irish and Scottish background. This is the type of music I listened to while I was growing up. On Sunday mornings while cooking Sunday Dinner or “Jiggs” as it is referred to here, this is the music that I have on the radio. You have a beautiful voice .I hope to visit Scotland one day, I hear it is much like Newfoundland with the beautiful scenery and friendly people. Keep up the great work
