@@whaddyatalkinbout not really. The most people in East Germany love this anthem still today and know the lyrics as well. I had spoken to many people from East and West Germany. The most of them like this anthem more than the anthem which is used today. If you play this anthem at any events in the east (like Oldtimermeetings for example) the most would sing along. The only people I know who hate this anthem are in the politics. And we all know how it looks in the german politic today...
