I'm pansexual, and I came out to my sister and dad on the day when the supreme court ruling was made for all 50 states to legalize same sex marraige :3. Btw, Tyler oakly was a big help in me realising my sexuality. I watched his videos and suddenly it just hit me. Like; holy shit, I am attracted to all kinds of people.

See,there's always the good ole' fashioned face to face talk with your parents,coming out to them. But then there's me,who typed up two paragraphs of texts,contemplated for almost an hour,was about to delete the text and wait another day or so,then accidentally sent the text. I've always admired you Tyler and this just adds to that. At the beginning of this school year i have been in the slow process of coming out to people and it has slightly nerve wrecking because, like you said, i didnt know how people were going to react to it. But with the more people i told i just realized that i didnt have to worry as much as i have been and that the people around me are loving and will always be supportive of me.

I go to a quaker school, and sometimes in Meeting for Worship people "come out" to the school. Our school and everyone in it is really accepting. Normally people say that they are bisexual, not so much gay (we know who all of them are...) but one girl stood up today, and randomly its also her birthday, and announced she was bisexual, and then I came home and realized that it was National Coming Out Day. thats pretty awesome.

Coming out is definitely something that doesn't happen in a day. Only three of my friends know I'm bi, and yet this took about a span of half a year. In the end though, when I told each person they showed me support and that's what's important. Coming out is different for each person, and I wish luck to anyone going through the same process.

Happy Coming Out Day! I came out a looooong time ago and at a time when it wasn't easy or cool to do so. I live in a fairly small city and it's tuff to find anything close to a gay community here. But, I have tons of accepting straight friends and I work at a place that lets me be me, just like everyone else. Tyler, you and the rest of the 5 do a great job and a great service for a lot of people who need a sense of community. Keep up the great work!!!
