National Council of Sports on New Facilities

The National Council of Sports has conducted on-the-spot verifications of five sports facilities in the West Nile area and midwestern parts of the country.
Terego, Yumbe, Madi-Okolo, Kiryandongo, and Kamwenge districts have facilities such as football fields, volleyball, netball, basketball, and jogging tracks.
The World Bank and the Government of Uganda funded the development of the projects, which cost a total of 10 billion shillings and aim to improve cohesiveness among refugee hosting communities.
The projects were undertaken in the selected local governments by the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development's Uganda Support to Municipal Development Programme (USMID).
