Care to share what u need when doing inflatable kayak?

Hi there! If you are keen to start on inflatable kayak fishing, you will probably need an anchor, life jackets, waterproof bags for your equipment and mobile phones. You will also need UV jackets or caps to protect yourself from the scorching hot weather. Besides the basic fishing equipment, you will probably need a net or fish stringer to keep your catches. You can also invest in some carabiners to secure your belongings to your kayak in case it falls off and into the sea. Hope this helps and do feel free to ask if you have any enquiries about inflatable kayak fishing. We will try our best to advise based on our experience so far. 🎣🙂

To be safe, best not to go near those blue barrels, you won't know if have strong current around the barrels that can cause your kayak to flip. Recently Sentosa have one incident a woman in her kayak got flipped near those barrel.

How strong is the current in Changi? Is it same as pasir ris?

Yes the current is stronger in Changi as compared to Pasir Ris so please do check on the tidal coefficients before launching for kayak fishing 🎣

Hi, just curious, do you need to obtain like any license to have a rowing boat in Singapore sea? Like any license related to MPA?

Hi you do not need any licence with MPA if your kayak is not powered by any forms of motor or engine. So in short, hand paddled or leg paddled kayaks are good to go without any license from MPA
