Just in case some of you are recognizing the voice, that is indeed the one and only Brian Blessed.

Camelot made a mistake in axing Lottery Extra (Renamed to Lotto Extra in 2002) as that gave people another shot at the jackpot and it never reached the maximum jackpot of £50 million.

I disagree, it was almost impossible to win, it wouldve been better having Dream Number

@@OtakuLogan2017 Or maybe have both with the Dream Number also being available with EuroMillions and Set for Life.

@@OtakuLogan2017I hated it when Lotto Extra got discontinued after the 8th July 2006 though, but really I think that if it had smaller prizes and not just the jackpot only prize, it would've worked better.

@@sambee8982 I think around 2013-18 I had an idea for a multiplier add-on for Lotto Extra. (Which would mean separate playslips for Lotto Extra) Known as the ExtraPlay, for an extra 50p per play, you could multiply your non-Jackpot winnings by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times depending on the ExtraPlay ball drawn. (Via a Halogen Mark I machine) The new prizes would be… 3 Numbers: Free Lotto Extra ticket 4 Numbers: £10 (Up to £50) 4 + Bonus: £150 (Up to £750) 5 Numbers: £3,000 (Up to £15,000) 5 + Bonus: £500,000 (Up to £2,500,000) 6 Numbers: Jackpot (At least £3,000,000 up to the Maximum of £50,000,000)

This was a big mistake that Camelot did, making Lotto Extra a jackpot only game; they should've added smaller prizes to the game too.

Allwyn could bring it back.

@@clarkejoseph49 I'm writing it in my letter to them, but it'll be played differently for it's next incarnation; there will be smaller prizes if the player doesn't win any of the smaller cash prizes in Lotto. If they do win one of the smaller cash prizes in Lotto, then they can still play for the jackpot in Lotto Extra.
