Thank you so much Sir. I am a govt employee and my monthly contribution (sum of contribution from my 10% salary and Govt contribution) Tier I (Not yet contribute to Tier II) is increasing every year since my appointment 9 years ago which at present stand at Rs. 25K plus per month that means Rs 3 lakhs plus annually . This is expected to increase as my salary is going to increase. If one can't not invest more than Rs. 150000 where will my contribution beyond this limit will be park in the NPS.

I left employment in 2007. I was under a Superannuation Fund scheme through my company Trust, with LIC. I reached the age of 60 two yrs ago. I now wish to commute 1/3rd and start a Pension. But I do not want the Annuity based pension to be from LIC. The pension schemes are not attractive. Can I transfer my SAF currently with LIC to NPS?

Dear Sandeep, system will not choose anything. You need to choose the fund house , strategy or individual funds .

Sir. An interesting topic as always. If the investor has access to some bulk money wanting to invest the first year, and then in the later years, make payments - minimum amount / as much as the person can, is there a way to estimate the difference in earnings? For ex., we can calculate the returns for a 35 year old person investing Rs10000 per month till age of 60. Instead if a person pouts say Rs20 lakh and then the other years may invest say Rs25000 / year for remaining years, then is there a way to find the returns?

NPS is not an interest paying scheme . Gains will come by capital appreciation overca period of time .
