I am proud to attend this yearly with my brother. We are both along side with our oldest brother members of the Law Enforcement community.

I am also proud to have participated in this beautiful candlelight vigil. My Father was a Sheriff who was shot and killed in the line of duty. It NEVER gets easier. God Bless all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us. May they be at Peace in Paradise. And may God give the families of Fallen Officers the strength to endure all they must go through for the rest of their lives... Stay Safe, Jody

It was a True Honor to attend this event. I was there in support of the Oakland Police Dept. We lost four officers in 2009. It was the first time I had ever been to the Memorial. It is something I will never Forget

this was truly a touching service. As a child of one of these fallen officers that had their name added to the wall, i was honored to have been surrounded by such wonderful people. My father was killed not even two months before my fourteenth birthday. Even though no one story is the same, we all share a similar grief. Rest in peace dad. Detective Chris Jones 4466 EOW January 29, 2009.
