I needed to see a good video of this guitar because I have to order it, sight unseen. Was trying to decide between the Resolectric and the Pioneer RP-1. You made the perfect video for me to make my decision. Thank you

Man, glad I could be of service. The resolectric is a great sounding and very versatile guitar through an amp as well as DI. What ever you go for, I wish you tons of fun!

I have an opportunity to buy a 1990 national resoelectric. Pretty much this same model here. How much would you value this guitar based on year make and model?

Awesome playing man... I ve just bought the same guitar. Do you have any recommendations regarding amps due to its resonator and electric nature? And possibly pedals... cheers and keep rocking
@gitarrenonkel3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man. Appreciate it. A nice, Fender (Blackface) type amp will work well. Mild overdrive not too bass heavy. You could try an overdrive with a blend knob since a bit of clean sound will bring out the cone tone more. Live I split the Signal DI and amp. And run the amp bit through a 3rd Power Wooly Coats Spanky wich is super versatile with an Okko King Krunch overdrive pedal and some delay.

what amp are you using and drive?

Amp is pretty much a deluxe reverb copy. Drive... hmm... something on my board. Probably a Okko Diablo or Okko King Krunch

@@gitarrenonkel like what? Could you elaborate? I can't decide between a National and a mule
@gitarrenonkel4 жыл бұрын
@@Zoevandyne My overall experience with the company was very disappointing. Customer service as well as quality of the instrument. I waited over a year and received an instrument that wasnt properly built and had cheap, not correcly working hardware. No repair was offered. My only option was return and refund. Heard from several customers with similar experiences. I'm sure they are great guitars when they work correctly. But I can't recommend them.
