National's Blanchard Grinder Process

While the Blanchard grinder accomplishes the same grinding as the planer mill, the finish is much different. The Blanchard grinder provides a nice texture to the finished surface, instead of the planer mill's smooth surface.

It the way I would have run those. I would have ran both off center more. That big plate was probably ground down at least .002-.004” where you blended it at.
