National Train Day 2012 at Grand Central Terminal

Enjoyed the video, sorry it was so crowded, but thanks for posting. Went to Tampa for National Train Day. Amtrak 184, Viewliner sleeper, Am dinette and Amfleet 2 coach. Also was the 100th anniversary of Tampa Union station. Some displays, 3 model RRs. Telegraphers club.

I was there. It was a good show, but they had us form in a long line in a hot hallway and it was very crowded.

Fantastic video! I had the same problem at my national train day. The one line really sucks because if you get inpaintent people behind you (which I did) you can't really film.

I was there too and i only took vids of the acela, the model train display and the anniversary train.

I was at last year's display in Philadelphia and had a good time doing the tour, but this year I didn't go anywhere. Today felt like a letdown. But 30th Street is better than GCT in my opinion. Note "May 7, 2011" at 2:09.

Yeah I brought my camera and had the exact same problem but I mostly went to see the heritage unit.

Nice video. You're so lucky to see the interior of the Acela. Were all the cars of the set open? Also what day is national train day this year? Will they have the Acela here this time?

Today the line closed at 2 but on the website they said they would close at 4. No I am very mad
