Tax Reform Bill will benefit the North more than the South. Agriculture give more money than petroleum and industries combined. The North has the land to feed Africa. They just lack leadership to see this through, I think.

Did you know through which money the southern part of Nigeria was built. Especially the Lagos state you are boosting about. In 1913 the Lagos port complex was established, but back then there was no oil money, it was money through taxation on imported liquor and taxes that the colonial government of Nigeria use to build it, which was the north revenue because there was no port in Nigeria all imported goods comes by road or train which was what the north was bringing in to Nigeria's economy. You use their money established your state by calling it Nigeria's money, now that you have established your state your are calling it Lagos money. Be truth to yourself without the Northern people and money, Nigeria will be nowhere as it is today because oil was discovered in 1956 close to our independence and yet after the discovery of oil we are still suffering and mind you without Northerners even the port will not succeed because almost 70% of the goods coming from the port are theirs, so do your research before talking.

I am a realist and not a pretentious fellow! We become the debased of human nature if we pretend that all/majority of Nigerians are okay simply because we are; due to our defective/lopsided/made toothless constitutions that tend to favour some at the detriment of the majority/vulnerable and made disadvantaged innocent Nigerians! I have red so many comments and I laughed when people talk like this. This is Nigeria where the law or rules only affect the poor. Believe me this bill will not help the poor instead the poor will still made to feel the impacts of this bill indirectly through the commodity we purchase. Beside as long as the Govt did not put in place the right way to collect these so called tax from the rich and the companies we will not head anywhere because there are corrupt tax official that will wave the tax from these so called rich people and companies in turns we will still purchase commodities at high price and they will claimed they paid high tax to the govt.
