@gajjc6743 The Slavic states had goals if unifying, especially amoung the South Slavic states (Yugoslavs) who had been under Turkish and Austrian rule for hundreds of years. There were other proposed unions, one of the most famous ones was the Russian Empire, the protector of Slavs and held all the Eastern Slavs such as Ukraine and Belarus, who would become the Soviet Union. There was another proposition between Poland and Czechoslovakia to unite, partly because Czechoslovakia had already unified the Czechs, Slovaks, and Carpthian Rus. But this never happened.
