I believe he may be German due to his appearance aswell as his overly basic last name, many German migrants had their names completely changed to overly simple American names Also, Rockstar seemed to be going for a very particular kind of joke with Gary, with his halloween costume being an SS uniform aswell as much of his idle dialouge mirroring Nazi ideology

Hal esposito is definitely italian... esposito is a common neapolitan surname, not spanish 😐. There are some of these that are totally wrong.

I'm pretty sure Hal is of Italian origin, not Spanish. Esposito is one of the most common surnames in southern Italy (Napoli) and it's technically a "fake surname". It was a surname given to abandoned children back in the old OLD days ("esposito" basically meant "exposed"), and considering Hal's insecurity and emotional issues, I think the reference to orphans is pretty much obvious.

Always thought Gary was Spanish but I can still agree with him being German if confirmed but Jimmy doesn't look American and Pete doesn't look Polish. Jimmy's definitely Irish, his face, red hair, extreme freckles and pale skin have strong attributes to it and his surname Hopkins is Irish, Pete looks mixed race, Zoe being Scottish though also seems accurate bro
