Bonjour Madame. You said in the earlier lessons that pronominal verbs are verbs that denote an action that you do with your body like bathing, waking up etc. But how is 'referring to ' a pronominal verb ? Je me réfère à la langue ?
@lingoniFRENCH3 жыл бұрын
Bonjour, let me clarify this :) Many verbs referring to "self care" happened to be reflexive, pronomina verbsl. But there are many other verbs that can be pronominal without being part of this family.

We learned that “est” is pronounced as e why you always pronounce it with the t at the end?
@lingoniFRENCH3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Yes, if you just pronounce the word "est" it's pronounced "e", s and t are completely mute. but when you use it in a sentence and that it precedes a word starting with vowel, you are allowed to prononce the t and link it to the following word, just to make the sentence more "fluid", it is a facultative liaison though! hope that helped, thanks for this very good question.

Bonjour tout le monde, comment allez-vous, vous tous ? Pour commencer, j'adore cette chaîne KZbin. Mais, être Anglais/Anglaise n'est pas une nationalité et L'Angleterre n'est pas un pays. La nationalité est Britannique et le pays est le Royaume-Uni. Juste une petite correction. Passez une bonne journée. Hello everyone, how are you all? For starters, I love this KZbin channel. But, being English is not a nationality and England is not a country. The nationality is British and the country is the United Kingdom. Just a little correction. Have a nice day.

I beg to differ but thanks anyways for this info. UK includes 4 countries, one of them is England, where English poeple live, isn't it?
@joshuaperez3874 жыл бұрын
@@lingoniFRENCH Well if you beg to differ? Then you would just be wrong. And no the UK does not include 4 Countries. Le Royaume-Uni est composé de quatre nations constitutives : l'Angleterre, l'Écosse, le pays de Galles et l'Irlande du Nord. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not Countries. The UK is a Country. Scotland is trying to get their Independence from the UK and if that does get to happen? Then Scotland would become a Country and Scottish will be the Nationality. I'm not trying to start a fight or troll or whatever with anyone, I am just trying to educate. I know alot about the British Isles that most people don't and no disrespect but I don't appreciate being told that I'm wrong because I actually have done alot of studying on the British Isles and I have watched and learned and not only that but I actually have friends or should I say mates that are from the UK and I even have an ex girlfriend from the UK and so I would be damn if I didn't know what I was talking about. And as it goes for this info? You are welcome or should I say de rien?

@@lingoniFRENCH Let me just say this one last thing. I honestly am very upset now and is very unfortunate that we are even having this discussion to begin with and I did not come on here for this and I am just trying to learn French without having to look like an idiot. I'll still watch the Channel but I just won't comment or anything anymore. And I also wanna say this too. I am very Cultural and it is very important for me to understand what are Countries and what are Nationalities. People still today don't know that Puerto Rico is apart of The United States and not as a State but as a Territory. I have such a huge education on The British Isles because I love The British Isles. I grew up a fan of Harry Potter. I watch British Wrestling. You know what? I'm done. And like I said I will still watch this Channel because I am still trying to learn French rather we have a good relationship or a bad one. I am just so tired of arguing already. 😪
