What a beautiful video you've done here. Thank you so much for doing it and sharing it with us all. My grandmother was from Tenn. and was full blooded Cherokee. I am so proud of being so closely related to this amazing culture. How rich and incredible, our ancestors were, and the baskets they made are just fantastic. I would love to know how to do this.

Excellent information on California native people. Basket making declined significantly after 1850 & many were lost to fire, souvenir collecting & so on. One missing example is the water bottle, This was tightly woven yes, but with pine tar pebbles & hot rocks placed inside, a constant rotating motion would coat the inside as water-proof. However, always think of these as a serious survival item & not as some trinket to hang on a wall or display on a shelf. For example, when the basket maker died her spirit had to be released from the vessel, like a bowl was broken & a basket was burned. Just saying.

1:15 "The Native American name for basket was 'amut'". "Native American" isn't a language. There were lots of different nations and tribes and they all had different languages. Maybe one particular people called baskets "amut", but surely not all of them did. You should specify what tribe you're referencing when giving information like this.

Tudah Rbah (thank you very much, in Hebrew). The Great Spirit is Hayah asher Hayah, Who is the Creator. RYH HaQDSH is the Breath/Spirit, theRighteous, which is His Spirit and the One we obey. We also obey His Son, Who was crucified and Resurrected after three days. The world calls us Cherokee, but we are the tribe of GD, of YSHRAL/Israel. We obey the Scriptures of Mose/Moses, the one called the Hebrew Scriptures. The Son will return at HR M GDD (from the hill of a place called GDD), to save YSHRAL. It is approaching, the day of Judgment, so we should all press in to receive the Son as our personal Saviour, and press in to Hayah, to be sanctified and continue to be refined by Him.
