If there is one thing rugby is 1st and foremost it is a sport. a sport that can teach team work, defending your goal line against an opposing team. It's Unity that binds teams together and sets them apart, a lesson to be learnt from, or a victory to be grasped and owned. One day Rugby will truly be a global sport. kia kaha (be strong) from Waipa, NZ.

Just wanted to say Rugby is not about violence it is about teamwork discipline and fitness like any team sports the proof is in the changed lives of the young people keep it up you are doing a wonderful Job would be great for you to come to New Zealand i feel a connection between the cultures of the Navaho and the Maori there is definitely a connect there.Was following a netflicks series on a navaho basketball team trying to make it to the state finals its the same for them teamwork discipline working together as a team really helps that sense of community and well being we look after each other that is how it is we all need a place of belonging somewhere where we feel accepted as part of the tribe or group that makes all the difference..

lol , not ready for them yet mate lol, half of the maori team are all blacks lol, youd probably beat counties though lol, but then counties are a poor union that cant afford to keep its good players but have a giant heart and have beaten and almost beaten some of the best teams in the world including the all blacks, they had the greastest come back in history of rugby , trailing 38-15 with 20 minutes remaining ,against waikato semi final npc1997, their ground announcer advertized tickets to the final next week writing counties off counties came back to win 43-40 , but lost the final to canterbury

@michaeleager46353 жыл бұрын
Maori and Pakeha ( mainly European descent NewZealanders) and players of Pacific Island descent all make up the All Blacks. There are Maori cultural elements , like the haka, used in bonding and preparation for the game. There is also a team, the Maori All Blacks, in which all the players share Maori heritage.
