Thank you very much for your review of the FI and X1- mk2 I forgot that I can do so much with this set up it's brought new life into my music sets. At first I was just using 1 deck believe it or not now Im using 3 decks 2 track decks and one remix decks that Im capturing loops into.. .

I see that's a cdj stand them wee beauts are laying on. does traktor sell an upright facing stand for these 2 controllers by any chance iv only seen the hard back cases that lay flat an the carry cases. maybe a sturdy cdj stand is the way to go

Looks like the citronic djp1. I owned one before and it comes with two sizes of platform which is very useful, however in use its not the most sturdy of stands

Hi thank you for your video. I want to end up with Two F1's and 2X1's and a Machine. However Ill start off with a F1 and a X1, I noticed you could change your eq's for both straight from the mixer? Can you do this for each track deck and each mixing deck desperately? or is it the overall sound of the device? Do I need anything extra ie the audio Dj interface or a Z1?

Great review and you have helped me make my mind up with what I'm buying... 1 question. The samples (High hats and kick drums etc) that you are dropping in via the F1. Do they come pre loaded from Traktor or do you need to add them all yourself?

Can you use the X1MK2 or F1 to crossfade between deck A and B? I play house music and blend my songs together would it hard to used the F1 and X1 ? Thank you very much for your video. Could you do a video with mixing or blending deck A to deck B?

I'm currently using an Traktor S4 MK II. I've been looking at buying additional hardware and the F1 & X1 we're first to look at. After watching this impressive review, the F1 seems to be a definate for me. However the X1 seems pretty pointless...all I want is a bit of hardware that I can use mainly for effects. The touch line...or scroller? is what attracted me to the X1. RMX 500 seems cool too! But i'm after something from native instruments. Please help! Thanks.

Hi can you please explain me how to use my x1 and the dim 900 only. . i can't find the right settings. . i have all my drivers and softwares up to date and i thing i have to do something on the traktor settings. I'm using a mac book pro. no cdjs just the x1 + dim 900 nexus mixer. . please let me know . .

You need a sound card like the Audio 2 or 6.

you need to download and instal this mac driver for djm900nxs, and a usb cable, in order the mixer to be recognized as a sound card. really it can't be more simple than this www.pioneer.eu/files/support/DJ/DJM-900/DJM-900nexus_M_1.3.0.dmg

Matthew McGibney The djm900 has an integrated sound card which you can use in traktor. You need to download the djm900 drivers from pioneer's site and launch the djm900 configuration utility when connected. Works very well, I hardly ever use my audio 8 anymore because of this. Just plug in the usb cable in the mixer, switch the cdj channels from line to usb and you're pretty much done. perfect for taking over at a party

yes unless you upgrade to a mixer that has a certified traktor audio card built into the actual mixer for example like the djm900 or djm-t1 or the native instruments z2

The connection isn't with the laptop but with the DJM 900, it´s plug and play Very Nice!

getting 2 X1 the older ones and a F1 and then will be getting a new mixer looking at A&H xone 96 and just sell the rest of the equipment... love how Traktor lets you be more creative... use to have a Traktor S8 but the PS kept going bad and now it won't even start up now but when it was working was great... do you use STEMS also

The usb soundcard in the mixer will split the channels to simulate what is going on in traktor so deck a b c d will be channel 1 2 3 4 on your mixer, hope that helps mate

I use Allen and heath over the pioneers for sound quality mine is the xone db2, but the rmx is more compatible with the pioneer mixers, I still think you can route the rmx through a xone 96 though, mine not so easy as there are no send and return
