Here the thing about sync. Sync is used so you can get turntables up to speeds a normal +-8% turntable can't reach. Because of sync we can remix. Don't use sync to be lazy, use it to remix bpms out of the range of two different genre's

STEMS are not new. We always did use stems. How many times you mix an a cappella with a beat in the old times (i.e in the 90s)? We always look for stems and now are here as a digital compact format. Glad we have stems. I will love to have original music as a stems from the 80s and 90s. THAT WILL CRAZY! PLEASE MAKE IT POSSIBLE!

+Rasp Haunt , that is very nice. perfect for NI to get this mixer mapped to tractor scratch or just buy the mixer off voxoa and slap the NI name on it like serato does with just about everything out there, lol how much is it?

+Ezmyrelda Andrade i have owned 2 z2's...the upfaders and button quality are horrible...everyone I know, and ive been a tablist for 20 plus yrs,not to be an ass..lol...has had to send theirs back for one reason or another...Only people that get them for free, aka Q-bert,Craze etc...seem to like them over most mixers..its a great mixer thats built horribly is all...this has 90% of the z2 features plus a few more..In Argentina and Brazil the Voxoa outsells the Z2 20 to 1....plus if u want more usb's,get a hub...I was just suggesting another alternative is all....and I skratch every day..check me out here=soundcloud.com/rasphaunt ..if they built a better one...perhaps my opinion would change....thanks man. Stems and Remix Sets were a cool concept. However, Producers have not adopted it. I love NI for their ingenuity, and marketing. I remember the first version of Reaktor. However, I think NI is focusing on the software to produce hardware that is never truly realized. They could do so much more if they got "everyone" involved. My two pennies. Love Ya NI! You always take my money, but I have been slacking on the hardware side for the past two years. Remember KORE? I still use it.

Craze on using the sync button (which he does) - "Why would I want to mix?" Just another DJ with double standards. "Mixing takes time" you say? Why even have turntables? Just bring your ipads/ipods. Make it even easier on yourselves. You're just spinning for drunk kids anyway.

+Flomaster that's such a staggeringly ignorant statement, you should delete it, or everyone will you think you are foolish

incorrect. DJ's have always used available technology to play and manipulate new sounds. for a while, one of the most important skills a DJ had was to be able to manipulate the pitch controller to match the tempo, once that (i admit important skill) is mastered, theres no need to bother with it. Spend the time getting more creative, looks like Craze (a 5 time world champion without sync) gets that, and look at his routines. He smashes it every time with highly complex technical performances which use the z2 to its fullest. So he uses Sync? So what? I bet you use spellcheck, and a steering wheel on your car - maybe you should go back to using a quill and running every where. At least you'd keep it real. Right?

Pete Griffin That's exactly what I thought you would write. It has nothing to do with keeping it real. Just embrace the technology. We don't need turntables when you don't need to mix. Don't really need to hear routines when the listener can't always tell if it's a button being pushed or a track edit. That's not really creative. Sounds like you're the one stuck in the past.

+Pete Griffin just cause someone invented a microwave doesn't make them a cook...when they invented the electric guitar...they didnt pretend it was an acoustic.the word "VINYLIST" was created for the same reason BABU coined the word TURNTABLEINSTS...we dont want to be put in the same category.HOW MANY F%*KING SH*T EFFECTS DO U NEED!!!it's a f%*king joke...skillz over toy's.what u button pushing knob tweaking dj's dont understand is this is a CULTURE...& when u lie...u lose RESPECT!!!P.S-i totally disagree with CRAZE...beat matching is an art/skill...& would rather see him beat match then push a button which any assh*le can do!!! whatever happened to that guy...he used to be one of my favs....guess i'll just stick with NOIZE...atleast he keeps it REAL!!!
