The quality change and the remove of pity system is a big lose. Not everyone is so lucky. When you have 85 quality - you are fucked. You can spent millions and get nothing and the difference in damage compare with 100 is a big enough.

I'm really curious though, will I need to ilvl rush my alts of the same class as my main that use his set of t3 gems or will I be able to stick my t4 gems in them.. Because if not, I'm gonna be really upset 'bout honing 2 more rangers to 1600 recently only to get sad lvl7 t3 gems to grind content..

yeah the text does say "shining elixir of wisdom" a new item will exist now, so that means existing elixirs will not have the discounted transfuse

Wait so mana efficiency now has a bonus, and only 1% less dmg than cursed doll that has a negative aspect to it? I kinda feel cursed doll should have been equal to mass increase.

To be fair, Hit Master (for example) also gives 16% dmg with no negative aspect except "only non positionnal skills". In this case, for mana efficiency, the downside is "only mana-consumming skills", which not all classes have. For example, it wouldn't work on surge main hitter, it doesn't work on SF, not on scrapper, etc. Some class will benefit well from it (zerk, slayer maybe, aero possibly), and some not at all. Meanwhile, cursed doll has been buffed and works on any class, any build, anything.

The advanced honing transfer from t3 to t4 sounds really weird to be honest. In theory the maximum what you can get is +20 so it should be better to max the advanced hoing now on t3 but it also kinda lost sense in this case, I mean why doing it on t3 should be more profitable than on t4.

base versions are lower unless you finished the books but sindce were getting 6x3 it wont take long before being an upgrade over 5+1

@@rguinucci ahh... because there is no relic effect in this letter. you can check only legendary upgrade shows 6% with yellow color it means he doesn't read relic book at all so, 14% in the text means base 8% + legendary 6%

It really seems like a waste to not just full dump t3 mats into adv honing before t4 if the shards aren't being carried over. Those new leaps and shard bags in t4 will be hella expensive for awhile.

For the West I don't know man advanced honing just sounds bad. Unless you're doing advance honing so you can start doing hard mode Theamine it just seems like a waste of hundreds of thousands if not a million gold. At 1620 you go to 1640 which lets you do chaos dungeon, guardian raid, and behemoth for T4 mats. Your gear resets to 11 or 12 where the honing chance goes back to 10% and in two hons 12 total you're going to be at 1660. Is that cheaper than going advanced honing to 10 and then honing your gear +1. The hype of advanced honing was how much it reduced the cost from going from 1620 to 1630 and or 1630 - 1640. I guess you have to factor in how much extra gold you'll be getting from echidna hm and Theamine hm until the update releases at least in the West.

that's why we need exact info about advanced honing in t4. So that we can compare and give the most optimal honing strat. You hear about advanced honing being cheaper becaus it is compared to traditional honing before t4 announcement. Echidna raids exists for a while now in KR. Even with T4 at some point, the honing chance will be around 1-2% again and advance honing will become beneficial. The system is not that bad, its just when we should do it.

@@kramlesterlopez its easyer to gather shards on alts then gold to meet the gatekeeping check. when i used the last express on my scrapper she ended up having more shards by the time she was finished then the 3 million i left her at 1540 all that time

I recently came back to push my main, got bussed in Akkan etc and managed to get it from 1580 to 1605 and I gained gold by pushing. Went from 160k gold to 180k gold. Is hard mode ivory tower going to be soloable? If so I think people who are behind will be okay for now, just ready to see my gold disappear to get 35/40 elixirs.

agreed. man, have they not tried cutting elixirs themselves? 10 elixirs take forever to cut. atleast have a damn skip animation button or something. cutting the cost is extremely lazy of them.
