Thanks for the great video. I think one thing worth mentioning (since Lance Master has inbuilt Crit Damage increase): The more Crit Damage increase you already have by default, the less efficient Keen Blunt becomes. Because the additional Crit Damage you get becomes less, relatively speaking, while you still lose 20% of your full damage when the penalty activates. Example: Raid Captain with max movement speed gives 18%. With normal Crit Damage (no other multipliers) Keen Blunt becomes the better option when you have at least 70% Crit Rate (giving an average damage increase of 18,2% at 70%). But if you already have +50% Crit Damage without Keen Blunt, the average damage increase with 70% Crit Rate is actually only 14,7% and will _never_ reach 18% (17,6% at 100% Crit Rate). I know Raid Captain isn't an option for Lance Master. I just used it as an exemplary comparison to showcase how Keen Blunt loses power with additional Crit Damage.

Man you got a sub for the fact you stress that players need to THINK about their build and not just blindly build something that they saw on a website. I see so many rainbow stat builds in NA from people who prioritize engravings and getting 4 3's and you have a lot of people going for 3 3's but they take on negatives cause they didn't plan out their purchases, or you have the person who has good stats, but bad engravings or good stats but not for the class engraving they chose (high swiftness low CR no specialization Sorcs I am looking at you). I love build crafting, so this game is heaven for me. I finally buckled and decided to build a Reflux build and ended up trashing a ton of stones just to get an instacast reflux build going as well...will I reget it later? Maybe, but again it just reminded me of how many options there are when it comes to building some classes and lance master is super exciting because it was supposed to be my day 1 main, and now that it is here I am not dissapointed. She will be parked at 1340 for a bit though while I get my Warlord up and then I am debating on scrapper or deathblade for the last T3 alt slot.

Really nice, loved it! If I could add another thing in your video, or atleast in some kind of Glavier video explaining it, would be 1 by 1 going through each and every skill and their tripods, talking about when you would use X skill with X tripods without talking about full skill setups people should use, but what each skill provides and when and why to use/not use it, so I can have a better idea of the skills I wanna use myself. I've seen so many Lost Ark videos about classes, skills etc, but NONE has ever talked specifically about the individual skills in depth and Im will wondering why not? as that's what Im the most interested in.

so i just went to maxroll and it said priority is -> class -> grudge -> cursed doll so i kinda just build that thinking why not keen blunt and now you say keen blunt is good now i have a scuffed 3-3-3 ... so do i just switch tripods from 100% crit to the optional ones you showed?

So I'm going to do this on my pinnacle glavier too. But I'm going to go budget, because it's not my fav alt. I hope my build can be ok. I found a really budget way to build her, tell me your thoughts. I'm still learning this class. Pinnacle 3, Grudge 3, Increase Mass 3, Keen blunt 3, Ether predator 3. Ether predator makes the build budget af but is pretty useful instead of just going 4x3. I'm not buying pinnacle books

I have a question, on the 5 blue 2 red build, is Cutting Wind (1/3/2) viable as the 5th dps skill instead of Chain Slash, so we can leave this for more mobility? What would be the pros/cons of using Cutting Wind instead? I think Chain Slash has more dps potential due to tripods and offers Destruction + Stagger, and since its a back attack, additional 5% dmg and 10% crit and can be used twice on a rotation in blue stance due to low cooldown, while the cutting wind does not have a positional requirement, but has less dps potential, but gives you an additional mobility skill (Chain Slash)

I had a cursed doll keen blunt stone on my Db and transfered it to my LM. And not I have a 7 KB and 6 CD stone, I was happy till I saw that the accessories are like 10k on the necklance with random other engravings. I'm wondering if I KB, CD, and Climax is good enough.

so what i am iterested is skill build, on maxroll at max skill points there is another red skill leveled to 10, and apparently that enables raid captain to be viable? I dont know and kind of dont like it cause i would rather go for increased mass, what is the skill build then, which blue skills should i increase in skill points at the end?

Hey I want to ask for clarity. at 7:46, you talk about hit master not working for skills that have front or back attack. Is that completely true? say I miss my back attack, does that not increase my damage in that case there by bringing the average damage back up (not optimally)? It doesn't seem entirely irrelevant to the lance master.

if your skill description has Front/Back attack, Hit master will not work. Unless you have a Tripod that removes front/back attack modified like gunslinger.

Hey, thank you for the video, i don't know if you have already talk about this, LM has a lot of blue skills, 4 of them are mandatory (5 with the counter) , but it leave us with a lot of choice. Do we just pick up the spells we are confortable with, or is there better than others ? I see a lot of differents spells on differents guides, like "Chain Slash", "Cutting wind", "Stampeding slash" or "Soul Cutter"

Scrapper offers high destruction and stagger, 6% dmg buff. Glaivier offers moderate destruction and impairment but a really good 18% crit rate buff. Scrapper is tankier, but a bit less dps imo (if kr ptr goes live, Scrapper will be top dps). Both are about equal in terms of usefulness. If you are running a fixed party for content, go Glavier if you party need more crit rate (reflux sorc, soulfist, gunlancer, blade, etc.), otherwise scrapper offers more destruction and stagger if you need that.

Hey ATK, with the changes to glaivier tripods, I'm seeing a lot of KR players moving to use thrust instead of starfall for 5/2. Also more people running 4/3. Has there been any conclusion on the new meta? What are the tradeoffs? I'm a bit unsure how to continue building, and wonder if its still mainly preference, or are there now new "must have" skills/tripods.
