No joke. Watched this video a few times. Went to trixion. was doinglike 90-100k dps. Started changing some skill points, runes, rotation... left doing 130-135k. Very nice. I think whats helpful as from a beginner pov, is to mention (even a just very brief) an explanation for priorities when you don't have things available. One example is that I got huge spikes in dps from realising I needed a wealth rune on 1 red skill to make sure I could filll gauge with 4 abilities every time... before i had to wait 3-5s for something to come off cd :o

I appreciate the more advanced guides since I'm now familiar with a lot of the elements. Only think I could wish for is rune alternatives for conviction and judgement. I only have them uncommon and I assume it's not worth it until I grind out the higher rarities.

i threw in galewind cause its what i had, and an overwhelm on the wheel of blades cause i had nothing else to put on there. and a wealth in the red skills cause on testing i saw I really needed it.

quick question, I'm 5/2 spec + swiftness, conviction + judgment. What's my ideal blue rotation? Also, what should my skills be, I'm using maxed chain slash, what can I replace it with? Before I was using Quick Slash lvl 4 -> Chain Slash -> SBD -> HMS - > RDS - > WoB --> switch to red stance I randomly got a lvl 3 quick prep tripod for vault so I put a bleed on it started experimenting with Vault lvl 4 -> SBD -> Chain Slash -> HMS - > RDS - > WoB -> Vault --> switch to red stance

Imo for crit/spec taking 4 red abilities might be just too much, if you run AoA take light blades as 3rd if not run thrust of destruction as 3rd and with thrust if its a third ability and not 4th you can run shield tripod since you will fit it in the debuff and you don't need to move away to crit. If you take 4 red it means you take only 2 blue at level 12 and if you want to run conviction-judgement combo you cannot run Precise Slash tripod unless you take something like Soul Cutter instead of Cutting wind at level 1 to run the rune with Half-moon slash. oh yeah and you kinda run out of galewind runes with 4 red, which is undesirable for cycles where you ult.

Love the video. While there are a hundred guides available this one really pieces some synergies together, as the tripod choice synergies for half moon slash and raging dragon slash. I only have one question where I struggle with in an 100% uptime dummy rotation. How does one deal with the clunky 5-6 sec CD on shackling blue dragon when coming out of redstance, even with lv6 CDR gem. I am just not sure how to fill this gap. As for auto attacks, is it better to auto attack in blue or radstance as a potential filler?

Try to proc Conviction/Judgment for your rotation or use Stampeding Slash if you haven't. should be able to squeeze 2 Stampeding Slash CDs in one rotation

additional slash tripod has less dmg, but more stagger and faster execution. i played with both for a while. additinoal slash tripod feels better to me, simply bc it feels and looks more fluent. those tripods are pretty much all preference, none is significantly better than the other.

Sorc is fun if you want big explosions and large damage numbers. Glaivier abilities are really fun to use, and the parry ability is awesome, only for pinnacle build though, which requires getting used to switching between to stances. Haven't played the other two, but deathblade might be the highest dps in the game right now

From this classes I play Sorc, DB and Glavier as alts. Here is my take, Igniter Sorc is pretty fun and not that difficult, but you can learn some animation cancels and optimizations that will make the classe even better with her at 1385 and Igniter and All-out attack on lv3 she out damage most of the people I encounter daily with similar or slightly higher ilv, there are a lot of Sorcs right now on my region so sometimes its harder to find Argos pts if you are not on a guild. For my DB I play Surge, its super cheap and strong, I don't like the class so much but I see why people like her, with only Surge on lv1 you will out-damage pretty much anyone if you learn your rotations properly (I even out damage sorcs and zerks near 1370 with her at 1340). And for Glavier she feels very good, her animations are very nice altough they are long, I main gunslinger so I think I could adapt fast to her, I still didn't found a build that I am satisfied with but she has a lot of options on skills and tripods and they change a lot how you will play.

Yes, Awaken applies to both hits, however it’s just a % damage increase, so it doesn’t matter whether you do 2 weaker or 1 stronger hit.

What I mean is, Awaken is basically a multiplicative damage increase - in a form of extra hits, following each swing. Precise is one big hit, so it gets strong Awaken afterhits. Hold version is one regular, followed by one weaker hit and the Awaken dragon hits are weaker accordingly (basically, depending on the damage of each separate swing). So yeah, Precise does the most damage, but It’s all backloaded at the end of animation. Hold is basically two-part so you still get some damage if you get interrupted mid-animation (also more of your class gauge generated). Awaken does not change this.

Total noob here, Is Pinnacle the only really availabe choice? The video itself is about how to build and utilize Pinnacle for 3/4, Control has only the last 3 minutes or so and everyone talks about how the Glaivier can parry almost anything (the parry being in the red stance therefore Pinnacle). Never even played Glaivier so I'm just wondering for a possible future...is Pinnacle the only really available choice?

Control really straightforward with the build and everyone almost using the same one, but pinnacle have variation build based how you want to play, and the overall dps are about the same.

control is also a option. but its nice to have a parry lategame with the pinacle one. im at 1370 with 3x3 and it makes so fun to play. i personally dont like the red skills so i decided to play control which is viable lategame. some people even say it does more dmg lategame but im not sure about that

Control is only ever comparable to Pinnacle when we have more stats to work with. At around 1580+ I've been told is where control starts to become viable and comparable to Pinnacle. Even then Pinnacle will still come out on top in terms of DPS potential.

ATK literally showcases in the first Glaivier video that Control has higher DPS than Pinnacle at endgame, and not by a small margin. Also, in the latest KR PTR changes it is stated that Pinnacle lacks DPS in endgame builds, thus why it gets boosts.
