It is that time of the year again for another brand new region from Genshin Impact, and this time, I decided to arrange Natlan's main theme. I really love the relationship between the choir and lead singer in the original track, I tried to recreate that effect on the piano by playing their respective melodies on different ranges of the keyboard. I've also found an opportunity to use the middle pedal (sostenuto pedal) in this arrangement which rarely get used at all at 3:52, this pedal would sustain only the bass notes thus allowing the melody line to be played in a disconnected manner as intended in the original track. Holy crap this was all sorts of incredible! Such a mature sounding interpretation, I really felt completely absorbed in your performance.
