With Natlan coming up, let's take a look into Mavuika and why her flames have that strange colouring, why there are only six types of saurian but seven elements, how Capitano seems to know Ororon as well as Mavuika and a bunch of other things like the abyss and a great battle that took place before the Mare Jivari was created.

I'm so excited to find out more about Natlan! Which characters stood out the most to you? For me it's Capitano and Mavuika but I kinda wanna catch 'em all. Corrections: Just adding a few corrections with the new information we have! It seems the flying saurian is pyro but it's a sort of evolved or corrupted version of Mavuika's phoenix form. Must be something similar to the big Yumkasaur boss. And as Trevor8k pointed out, Chasca has an Anemo vision in the latest trailer. Maybe there was some communication issues with her having a cryo one in the first teaser as I've seen zoomed in HD shots from that one and it was almost definitely cryo.

Mavuika and Ororon. Ororon in particular due to his tattooes resembling the domain mural and red cubes on his arm and hand. Mavuika due to her Maori mythology name and her seeming to turn into a phoenix. Oh and Kinich cause of his snake-like eyes.

I'm from New Zealand, so it's very interesting to hear New Zealand mythology being discussed. I've heard the myth of the ghost canoe, there's quite a few myths relating to that eruption. I've actually been to Mt Tarawera and to the villages that got buried around it. It's a beautiful but sad place. A volcanic ash cloud is something that's very impressive to have experienced. I experienced one when I was in high school in the late 90's. Mt Ruapehu in the centre of the North Island erupted. I was living in Gisborne, on the east coast. It's about five or six hours away from Ruapehu. We couldn't go outside, the ash was so thick. Apparently it could be seen from Asia and Europe. And it was toxic. Everything had to be shut down because we had to stay indoors, it wasn't safe outside. The tournament feels like a sports tournament. Now in New Zealand, we're pretty famous for doing a Māori war dance called the haka before sporting matches. If you've heard of the All Blacks, our national rugby team, you might have seen the haka. "War" has sort of been adapted in my country to sport, because the haka used to be performed before battle. And my fellow countrymen are very very very intense about rugby in particular 😅 I could see Natlan changing the tournament to a sporting event rather than a battle. I highly recommend checking out "All Blacks haka" videos. I'm not even into rugby (don't tell my fellow countrymen 😅) but there's something very intimidating and spiritual about the haka.
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
That's fascinating, would you mind sharing some of the other myths around the eruption? The two I mentioned were all I could find unfortunately. I read that the pink and white terraces were thought to be destroyed there but they've found some in tact which is at least something. Oh my god that sounds terrifying, how long did you have to stay inside for? Must've felt like the end of the world. Great point actually yeah, I've seen some of the Haka and can't believe I didn't connect it with Natlan! I reckon the tournament is going to have a bunch of different sport-like activities too with all the traversal methods we've seen from the new characters, wonder if we'll get a version of the Mayan ball game that's so well known from their mythology too. Also might explain why Capitano has Ororon on his side, maybe he has him do the running/climbing events and Capitano does the strength/fighting stuff as I imagine the final to decide the winner will probably still be combat related. Though the mental image of Capitano running a race in all that armour is pretty funny.

@@TheLaughingManLore The Pink and White Terraces have this romantic lore, because it looks like they were pretty special. There are still searches out there to see if they can be found. I've seen other terraces before - Rotorua is full of geo thermal activity, it's the place to go for boiling mud pools, geysers, etc. so I've had many a school trip there. The terraces I've seen were very beautiful but too hot for swimming in. I've been on Lake Tarawera and it's huge, the distance between the volcano and where the Terraces were/the Buried Village is actually quite significant. The lake is very deep too. The Buried Village was completely destroyed and it's very well preserved but it's also a little spooky. Most of the legends are basically ghost stories and premonitions, both from Māori and Pākeha (white/Caucasian) people. The ghost canoe is probably the most famous though. I always found that story to be really spooky. I didn't actually find the ash cloud and the volcanic eruption to be too scary at the time 😅 I was something like 16 or so, my moron brain was more "yay! No school" then anything else 😅 It was pretty freaky though. In hindsight, it should've been pretty scary, I'd definitely be more scared today but back then I just really enjoyed not going to school. It was like a really thick fog for a few days. Rugby is such a massive thing here and it just struck me because it is so war-like (how we play here anyway). Apart from the haka, you also have these massive guys smashing into each other and most rugby players are huge. I remember a classic game day way back when the late Jonah Lomu was dominating. He ran down the line, smashing through everyone, had players hanging off him and he just bulldozed through, it was just crazy to watch. I don't even like watching rugby on tv but it was jaw dropping. I could definitely see Capitano doing that. But thinking of Capitano running in his armour definitely made me chuckle, that would be so funny 🤣

Seeing those must've been amazing, I'd love to visit an area like that as it almost sounds like something from another world with how tame everything is over here haha. Bloody hell I thought the villages would've been fairly close but if they were far away that eruption must've been masssive. Was there magma underneath the lake too that caused an explosion? I think I read about that but not sure if I'm mixing things up. Yeah the Buried village sounds spooky as hell, no wonder there are a lot of ghost stories about it. Just seeing some of the images makes me imagine what the people would've felt there as the eruption was happening. Oh hahaha yeah true I would've been the same actually, no school > everything else. Funny how stuff like that just goes over your head when you're a teenager. I'm gonna look that up, don't watch rugby either but that Jonah Lomu game sounds pretty legendary with people hanging off him! I think the blue hue of the fire in a few of those fire tongues represents purity/cleansing/exorcism, maybe even rebirth with which the phoenix is known for and associated with. Blue fire is typically hotter than your normal red fire, this could hint at Mauvika possessing either a better/more profound knowledge of fire than anyone else, or an innate propensity towards fire.
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
Oh true yeah blue fire is hotter so could be closer to the source or primal fire as you'd think that'd be the hottest of them all. I think the Red Saurian that flies by in the trailer is likely Pyro, if you go off of the designs of the 3 Saurians that we know about already their designs are very distinct in that you can tell from a glance what element they are. Genshin is usually very on the nose about matching colors to elements especially in regards to monsters and enemies. I think the remaining 2 Saurians are likely anemo (the bird-like saurian in the circle) and electro (the bat-like saurian on the top right of the circle) with the pyro saurian being the horned creature at the bottom of the circle(the structure on the nose matches perfectly.) I think the missing element is actually Cryo; Cryo as an element tends to take on the role of the outcast or contradictory element even amongst the followers of the Tsaritsa they are all in it for their own personal benefit (a group of misfits cobbled together out of begrudging necessity). I would go so far as to say Capitano represents cryo as a tribe through Snezhanya's meddling in search of the pyro gnosis
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
I thought the same thing before the Ignition trailer as the colours match, the pyro saurian should be released soon after the first three if it releases with the pyro archon in like 5.2 and the horn thing could be like a gland that can allow it to shoot flames like a flamethrower. But after seeing Mavuika seemingly transform into that phoenix-like bird and the little feather at the top of it's head as well as Mavuika having an ahoge to match the engraving, it'd be more strange if the archon was associated with a saurian that isn't pyro unless there's a big reason for it. It's possible she's a special variant that looks different than the regular pyro saurians but yeah, that flying saurian in particular was the biggest headache for me, was even considering not mentioning it haha but guess we're just missing some crucial info to explain things. Cryo would fit pretty well with being the missing saurians as out of any element they're most likely to have trouble living in a land of pyro as well as what you've said. Capitano having blue eyes would also fit at least visually and him being the probable #1 of the harbingers representing the Tsaritsa would fit perfectly too. I'm still not 100% on any of the elements for him but right now I think cryo would fit for all the reasons we've stated, anemo could represent the whole wanting freedom from Celestia and almost definitely having a few dead comrades and much less likely as we've had Arlecchino recently but his whole obsidian colour scheme could represent pyro and the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca who's associated with obsidian and known as "smoking mirror" which could line up with him being Tenoch with his Talking Stick made of obsidian. Thanks for the well thought-out comment, I've got a bunch of notes I didn't add so the video didn't become too complicated so I always appreciate being able to discuss things with you guys.

@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
I'm 50/50 on it since Neuvillette was supposed to be special with his human form but we have Cloud Retainer and possibly Mavuika able to transform into animal forms, plus (maybe most importantly) it's a new group like the archons/harbingers that would generate a lot of revenue just from who they are. So there's definitely a chance but I'd guess it'd be closer to/after Snezhnaya.

The sibling take on Capitano and Mauvika is interesting. What would be interesting to speculate about is what Dainsleif means when he says " When the God of War shares this secret with the Traveler, it is because she has her reasons " was that what the trailer was showing but it looked like she was talking to the primal flame. Also how can Dain know that she is going to tell us before she tells us he doesn't seem to know what the loom o fate is so some parts of the future seems to already be written. Another difficult theory is to piece together How Simulanka represents Natlan because all of the summer events represents the next region in some manner. Unless they made a detour this time, it's possible I suppose
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
It's more of a sibling-like rivalry I'm imagining but probably not actual siblings - there is a lot of twin mythology surrounding Natlan though so that'd be quite a nice twist if they write it well enough. Yeah Dain's so hard to figure out, he knows stuff like the archon telling us a secret but then says his memory is hazy and with that last quest he was in... he's definitely not reliable. Now that you mention it, I wonder if the traveler is gonna be sort of integrated with the primal flame so it could still be us she's talking to. From the trailers it seems we can sort of possess saurians so I bet that's a really rare ability she'll likely have some use for. I've only done the first section as I was working on this since the last Natlan teaser but from the frogs it seems they're undergoing a similar tournament kinda thing as Natlan, not sure about the princess though - Xbalanque? I am slowly and heavily gravitating towards your theory of Capitano being inspired by Sigurd, and this video pretty much convinced me further! But there's one problem and I have mentioned in another comment of your video(sorry for bringing it up again 😭), which is that Roland the Bloodstained Knight and Capitano have quite striking similarities. -Both were very righteous, with Roland being blinded by justice and Wanderer stating that Capitano holds "absolute righteousness", and that trait of Capitano being a latent danger, which reminds me of Roland losing himself in the name of justice, in which he was satisfied and sees it as justice being served, even though slaughtering for the sake of justice is still slaughter. -He knew of Signora's real name, Lohefalter, though this reasoning could easily be rebuked by the fact that the Fatui has so much intel at this point, courtesy to Pierro's recruiting experience. -Capitano has visual similarities to the Bloodstained Chivalry artifact set, more notably the helmet's jaw shape and the four pointed star, although the four pointed star pattern seems too common. Not to forget the black and gold color scheme of both Capitano and the artifact set. On the other hand, your theory of Capitano being Tenoch seems more convincing, in the way that, no Harbingers are of Natlanian origins, yet, and I read somewhere that he has dragon scales on the black/darker part of his helmet below the big four(or eight) pointed star? The new teaser is more revealing of it, and yea it looks like it, and like you mentioned before it seems like he and Mavuika are familiar with each other and how Tenoch was not a part of the six tribes, everything is tying so well together in this video about Capitano and Ororon's affiliation with the theorized missing Anemo tribe! There's also your mention of how Capitano(Sigurd) similar to that of Quetzalcoatl, who is the feathered serpent god of wind and rain. Another interesting part about all of this is that in your Sigurd video, you mentioned Mimir founded Sigurd and raised him, going along with your theory of Surtalogi probably also being inspired by Mimir, does that mean Sigurd knows how to use Foul Legacy and Abyssal powers and that could explain Capitano's strength? And during Sigurd's journey a wanderer who was Odin in disguise joins him(possibly Hroptatyr or Irmin?), interesting how both "Sigurd" and Roland were accompanied by an Odin-like figure, with Roland being followed by ravens, but this thought only stems from your Sigurd theory, as well as your Bloodstained Knight theory, so these assumptions may very well be wrong. 😅
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
Haha no need to apologise, I love a good Capitano discussion! I think the Bloodstained Knight theory still holds up pretty well too for all the reasons you mentioned, he could have even played a similar sort of role fighting against the Abyss in Natlan, just 500 or so years later. Apparently they pulled some of the manga too so I wonder if they're going to move up the Mare Jivari incident to line up with Khaenri'ah falling 500 years ago, then it'd fit even better. I had no idea about the dragon scales on the back of his helmet! I'm gonna have to look for that now, that'd be so interesting. It does seem to fit well but I'm expecting some sorta curveball from hoyo as I was nearly convinced Arle was related to Remuria in some way and it seems like she probably isn't unless it's via an ancestor of hers or something. I'm hoping I'm at least close or he's BSK though as they'd make for really interesting backstories with a lot of potential for some great animations too. Wooah I didn't even think of that because I was so focused on Natlan but Mimir and Odin representing those two sinners and being related to Capitano would be insanely good! Yeah I won't get too hyped up as I could be way off with the theories but damn, I'd absolutely love for that to be the case.
@trevor8k
@trevor8k Ай бұрын
@@TheLaughingManLore I just wanna make some corrections since I'm terrible at describing designs, and say that the dragon scales are found on the huge dark outline on his front part of his helmet, the outline that looks like it has jagged pattern in Winter Nights Lazzo just below the huge (4 or 8?) pointed star and above the two golden chains that are connected to the helmet that probably represents the eye sockets? Anyways it's more clear in the Ignition teaser that those were dragon scales, and he even has the scaly textures on his "cape" and clothes as well! Another interesting I found out is that he has the same three curvy patterns of the Ferrous Shadow(the sword Arundolyn used, modelled of the one Ravenwood used)on his chest! Right below the heart symbol, 2 parts of the "curvy patterns" that looks like golden(?) ropes connect to the bottom part of the heart symbol, so maybe that's another design choice indicating he might be Ravenwood?
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
@@trevor8k I see it now, good eye! If he is related to the saurians that's such a subtle hint most people would miss (like me haha), I love discovering stuff like that. I noticed underneath his coat his clothes are sorta anemo coloured too (at 2:16 in the ignition trailer), maybe a tiny hint to his element? It is quite muted though so could be nothing. Oh yeah the patterns are pretty much the same aren't they? That sorta droopy chain pattern fits perfectly with the sword. Since Ravenwood was associated with a wolf and Ororon has what looks like a bit of a wolf's ear, maybe Capitano has a bit of an affinity for wolves? They seem like special creatures too from some of the legends and myths we've read about them like the one who met the Seelie or the way they're associated with the moons (can't remember where I read that last one but it's in the lore somewhere).
@trevor8k
@trevor8k Ай бұрын
@@TheLaughingManLore Yea I can see the anemo color, but it looks like a very dark variant of it though. After researching a lot about Natlan, I came up with a cracked theory about Capitano if you don't mind xD, I think he could be Surtalogi and he would eventually betray the Fatui, he would try to get the Pyro Authority or the Primal Fire for himself and he could even be inspired by the Maori hero, Maui, he was a trickster, and Mahuika in some versions was his grandmother and in other cases, his aunt. Maui wanted to know where fire came from, specifically the secret of fire, Mahuika gave one of her fingernails to Maui, but it ended up being extinguished, all until one is left, where she threw it at him but landed in some trees. The part about him being a trickster could fit well in with Surtalogi, that is if Hoyo follows the word play theory about Loki and Logi. Now the reason of how I came up with this theory is that obviously from that Mavuika and Capitano interaction, and second, in the travail trailer Dainsleif says "When the God of War shares this secret with the Traveler, it is because she has her reasons.", the secret probably being the Pyro Authority/Primal Fire and I don't think Surtalogi is "Surtr", despite possibly being inspired by Surtr, because in the end times of Ragnarok, it is prophesized Surtr would wield Surtalogi to engulf the world in flames, hence why I think Surtalogi wants to obtain some sort of fire to become Surtr himself, reminds me of Surtur being revived with the Eternal Flame from Thor Ragnarok, haha. The third reason being Project Stuzha, iirc Stuzha means "severe cold/winter", I think this is a reference to Fimbulvetr, the event before Ragnarok, my theory is that Childe would be involved in this project as well, since he knows Foul Legacy and the Fatui or Pierro or the Tsaritsa might conjure some sort of magic spell using Childe as a vessel or something since he has access or has relations to the Foul, to summon Surtalogi to steal his powers, in other words to obtain "Surtalogi", and him hearing of this might also be another motive for Capitano being in Natlan, I think he has ulterior motives, I dont think he just goes there out of Pierro's/Tsaritsa's orders, he's doing this out of fear, because his life is potentially in danger and he doesnt want to become some sort of weapon and I think this adds up with Vedrfolnir being a fellow Sinner, perhaps there's some sort of prophecy of similar events to Ragnarok in Genshin, and Vedrfolnir would warn Surtalogi of this? Fourth reason being Capitano having these Abyss-like correlations, it's not stated in game, but I'm sure this guy is involved with the Abyss Order, something about his design screams Abyss Order/Khaenri'ah. And with this theory, it would also suggest that Capitano isn't who we think he is, because in my opinion, whichever theory turns out to be true, the part about him having "absolute righteousness" and stating that Signora's methods tarnished her honor seems baffling when he's in the same room with Dottore LMAO, there's a lot of things wrong with this theory like Surtalogi being dubbed "The Foul", and even worse, in CN, "The Knight of Extreme Evil", but I honestly don't think he's all righteous, another valid theory to cover this up is that since Surtalogi is pursuing some sort of perfection, maybe strength(?), his evil "deeds" are a "the end justifies the means" type of situation, where he's slowly garnering strength to fight against the gods, and he's trying to obtain these powers through any means necessary. Another cracked version of this theory is me trying to tie in Tenoch and Roland into this, where he started out as Tenoch and perhaps after his battle against the black tide(Abyss?), he would be scarred for life, with his comrades possibly dying and this might be his motive to achieve the so called "perfection" Skirk stated and this is the moment he ventures on to Khaenri'ah? And since Surtalogi would also be responsible for not helping during the destruction of Khaenri'ah perhaps he felt guilt, and ran away from the other Sinners(commedia Capitano reference?), that's when he would lose his mind and be overcome with guilt, and of course, this means Vedrfolnir and the other Sinners wouldn't let this slide, and prob erased his memory along the way, and he ends up becoming Roland due to the Sinner's effort to draw him back to their side(Roland's raven involvement possibly being Hroptatyr keeping an eye on him?) another thing that adds to this is that Roland is stated to be noble born, but no mention of him Mondstadt born, so maybe? Honestly nah, it's just pure fantasy from me at this point haha, but it would be cool to see Capitano as an independent individual, because if we go by my absurd theory, Capitano's motive to join the Fatui is to not only bring justice to the gods but to also try to redeem himself and try to be a better, rigtheous person and find an alternative to the Sinners, and him finally getting the Pyro Authority/Primal Fire means he's confident enough to stand on his ground alone, and this could also explain his possible element being Anemo(freedom?). Or he could be a spy for the Abyss Order, that's a popular theory if Capitano ends up being the Bloodstained Knight, and some members of the Abyss Order fighting against their source of power(Abyss) would add a bit more complexity. Though doubt it, as a lot seem to succumb to the temptations of the Abyss, maybe Capitano is the outlier and he has a strong will perhaps. This all stems from his commedia being a fraud or him bragging about his tales and how eventually he will be exposed or demasked, and we see his real self(personality), I am inclined to believe Hoyo has twisted certain aspects of a commedia character. Capitano's case being his tales being real and he doesn't brag about it, and that could even explain your Tenoch-Ravenwood-Berserker theory. I have a lot more sources and thought to add to this theory, surrounding Surtalogi and Capitano that I want to connect, specifically Perinheri, The Boar Princess, Fall of the Faded Castle and Arlecchino's "Masque of the Red Death" state in her kit, and real life literatures like Orlando Innamortato, Orlando Furioso, Masque of the Red Death and Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe, which I have yet to read, and even historical figures like Vlad Tepes of Romania(though a lot of this correlates better to Arlecchino), and many more sources to either add merit or to completely dismantle this theory, but it's too long, and I dont want this to be a giant wall of text being thrown at you and I also dont want this to be just me rambling nonsense and my wild fanfic 😂 Also to add that even if Surtalogi isnt Capitano, I think Surtalogi might be inspired by Captain Ahab from Moby Dick, the captain who hunted the white whale, given the Beastmaster Knights from the Crimson Moon Dynasty exist, he could be one of them or head of the Beastmaster Knights, it is mentioned that they were less prevelant because of the mechanical engineering trend of the Eclipse Dynasy, but it didn't mention anything about them as a branch being entirely gone, it's possible the role of a Beastmaster Knight is to tame otherworldly beasts like the whale or the rifthounds. Edit: Another possiblity is that he is Hunahpu, the twin brother of Xbalanque and could also be Rerir, because Hunahpu and Xbalanque grew up to avenge their father's death, and Rerir succeeds his murdered father and avenged his father's death, and if I recalled correctly, Hunahpu and Xbalanque has something to do with a Blood Moon in the Mayan myths? And that could be where Rerir got his CN title "Moon Hunter" It's very unlikely to happen, but it's a Surtalogi theory nonetheless, so what do you think of this, maybe we will see Surtalogi debut in Natlan? And hope you can grasp all that info I threw at you 😅

@@trevor8k Hey sorry this took a while to respond to, been working on a few scripts and finally finished one last night. Capitano being inspired by Maui would fit perfectly with him taking the gnosis from Mavuika, good catch! Him being Surtalogi is possible if he's been working with the Fatui in order to claim the pyro gnosis too but I wonder if someone at Surtalogi's level would work under Pierro, assuming Pierro isn't secretly one of the sinners or Irmin. It'd fit with Pierro wanting to burn away the old world though if we think of Pierro as the Surtr figure and him having Capitano become Surtalogi/Surtr's Flame. Surtalogi being called The Foul when Capitano is known for his righteousness would be a really interesting twist too that they could take a few different ways. Either he's a trickster like you said or he was known as The Foul but has since changed his mind or realised some truth that he wasn't aware of before and wants to redeem himself, going in the totally opposite direction of what lead to him being called The Foul. Maybe that's the perfection Skirk mentioned? I can see your theory coming true with his mind possibly being wiped and Hroptatyr keeping an eye on him to make sure he isn't playing any tricks or potentially walking down a path that would lead him to recovering some of his memories though. Really interesting stuff that becomes more believable the deeper you dig into it. He does seem to have ties to the Abyss at least from his colour scheme and having glowing blue eyes which make him sound like a wraith or umm... what are the guys from Skyrim called... Draugr. I had a script on that a while back but don't think I ever made it into a video as I think I discovered something else in the mythology that lead me into making a different video haha. I think if he does have ties to the Abyss though he's probably one of the best at resisting it fully taking over his mind as he has that tragic antihero/villain sort of vibe about him. Haha yeah that's a long list of sources to get through and I've found that the more I read, the more my ideas branch off and sometimes even contradict themselves with new information. I've got probably thousands of half-finished scripts that just became too overloaded with sources and too hard to make into a coherent video without it being hours long so I feel you on that! Ohh Surtalogi being a Beastmaster Knight would fit with him having the narwhal as his pet and I think even Skirk has some animal-like features on her that makes me think she has another form that's more like a creature than a human. I hadn't considered that. I'd considered him possibly being Hunahpu as there's a story where they killed a bird that pretended to be the real sun or moon that might fit into Natlan's history with Mavuika talking about their eyes not seeing what's real but with how she talked to him, I feel like she'd be a bit more either respectful or openly disdainful when it seems she's teasing him like they're of the same age or he's younger than her. I'll read up on their mythology again to see why I didn't include it though as my brain is filled with research for my next script atm haha. The story would fit with Rerir's CN title of Moon Hunter though if the title came from killing that demonic bird. Very interesting stuff, thanks for the great read! Gave me a lot to think about with the connections you've made that I hadn't considered. I have a feeling we'll see or hear from Surtalogi in Natlan yeah. My first thought when we heard of him was that he kills Capitano after Capitano wins the pyro gnosis fairly just to show how powerful the Sinners are but them working together or Capitano potentially even being Surtalogi could be an amazing story too. Next video covers a few things you've mentioned here as you know I can't resist talking about the Abyss/Fatui/Khaenri'ah haha so I'll be interested to see what you think of what I've found. Hopefully recording it tonight, fingers crossed there's no problems with the equipment!

Possibly yeah, if her family had some sort of dragon ancestry/close connection it'd fit with her becoming a falcon after ascending to Celestia pretty well too.

7:46 where is this mentioned? as far as i know only the archons have "themes" not the dragon sovereigns
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
I don't think it's explicitly mentioned but Venti calls Dvalin's wings "wings of freedom", Neuvillette is all about justice and Apep went after Forbidden Knowledge which could be the darker side of wisdom, accumulating knowledge even if it's dangerous so I think it's likely they embody those themes too.
@eternaleez
@eternaleez Ай бұрын
but the "themes" are just human principles really. the sovereigns were there way before humans were created, so what's the use of a dragon of justice if the elemental creatures that inhabit the planet have no sense of justice of their own?
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
@@eternaleez I think since the dragons are intelligent they'd have certain themes or principles they lived by, sort of like certain gods in various mythologies. I think in Before Sun and Moon it mentions something vague about the PO conquering each nation too which could mean there was at least some sort of civilisation on Teyvat under the rule of the dragons before PO arrived. Not sure if that'd be a civilisation of vishaps or if PO lied about bringing humanity to Teyvat though.

What element do you think Capitano use?Bet he uses part similar to dainsleif or skirk, not one of 7 elements
@TheLaughingManLore
@TheLaughingManLore Ай бұрын
I'd guess it'd be something special like Dain's ability but he could be straight up physical and he's just incredibly strong without relying on an element. After this video though I wouldn't mind him being Anemo as there's some really cool ways they could integrate it into his kit, maybe winds that shred things to pieces or some sort of gravity related ability since Venti can create a vortex.
