Yesterday, I planned to compare the HSR Amphoreus and Rinascita Wuwa maps because both maps have a Greek + Italian theme. However, I didn't expect Amphoreus' quality to be below Fontaine's. Even Amphoreus' shaders and textures are very similar to HI3 Part 1. Isn't that a downgrade? Man, Amphoreus should have deserved better treatment than that.

Especially when you realize they were using a FIXED RAILS like it was a sonic the hedgehog adventure game and instead of using flight mode, they specifically made fixed platforms that you can barely maneuver on… yeesh. Atleast your going across nearly the entire sector or most key points on said map with Wuwa flight challenge and they have over half a dozen of them that also double showing good farming spots and area of interests to go to next. Hell the one they show in the video, thorn crown rising is part of a super fun side quest of 3 mini dungeons with a few creative mechanics like a loop, parkour dodging sniper barrages and moar. In the case of the genshite one you have your camera facing downward a lot and just going around what looks to be mostly a circle with no key background shots to enjoy while riding. They could of atleast had it super high up in the air, have your move speed greatly increased while on the rails and maybe have some saurians spawned for the mini game to play around in the background or even flying alongside you. Instead, you need specifically Mavuika todo it at all so it’s a reminder of those that don’t own her, have to be FOMO’d into needing her. Plus I bet that challenge is a TEMPORARY EVENT, where the Wuwa one is permanent exploration content and you can redo it with any character. Hell I bet some people could do the Wuwa one co’operatively to lead into some sick cineama’togrophy they could pull of nice screen shots to boot. Between star rails wanting 10 hour opening cutscenes of black screen spam, genshite’s escalation of gacha monetization, zenless wanting 20 bucks for a basic skin that was in the game for several months, honkai 3rd likely forgotten at this point with how thar story is likely these days…. Why the fk does anyone play a mihoyo game anymore or continue to have the brainrot to defend them when even that god damn investment in said game means shite. Especially since now hoyoverse wants to mass fire its staff to instead pay entry level employees for AI development to do god damn COCO melon level generation most likely for future characters, story and probably even kits that likely won’t be curated because they think fans will still eat that slop

I just wasted a few minutes in Wawu Flying around to destress. It was super relaxing. 😊 Meanwhile, I flew around Natlan for some materials and it really showed how short your flying time is there. @@vince77-z27 Even if you touch the ground, you can get back to flying really easily even if the surface around you is completely flat, with a little trick with some characters who have aerial plunge attacks that lift them up slightly before plunging down. Works with Carlotta and Shorekeeper, for example. You just do jump + basic attack (so you start plunging) + after the initial lift up before the actual plunging begins use dash + basic attack again to gain a little bit more height + use the flight tool. With this, the last thing that holds you back a little bit, the requirement to have some initial altitude before you can start flying, is basically gone.

The problem with Mavuika is that the Subway Rush minigame is the focus while the flying in Rinascita you can watch the world around. There's a major difference in immersion. I pulled Chasca and there is day and night difference when she is in Natlan vs Outside Natlan.

So on onw side we have an exploration that's limited to that specific area where you need the help of certain "in area specfic tools" that can be used by anyone AND you can pull characters of that region to get QoL experience On the otherhand, we have 1 in-region specific tool that can be used by everyone.
