The 7.62x51mm NATO chambering and the overall rugged design make it a solid choice for anyone who appreciates reliable, military-style rifles.

It's not easy to explain the "Rollenblockverschluss". But once you get the hang of it, you'll understand why the thing has the power of a carabiner, kicks like a horse, and is still an autoloader.

Thats a beauty. Thanks for showing this to us. I had the chance to shoot the G3 in my service. We had them as our DMR back in the Days at the Bundeswehr. G36 as our main Rifle and a G3ZF in the squad as well

Like the FN SLR the HK G3 is a true battlefield weapon, the 7:62x51 round has distance and power and both weapons have reasonable accuracy, they are reliable and well built, all the attributes a good battlefield weapon needs.

Either the American made G3 is worse than the German made or the shooter was nut very focused 😅 When I was in the Norwegian military in early 2000's we used the German G3 and we got scolded if we had that bad group at 400 meters 😅 Btw, is that rifle model for sale in USA?

I had a CETME (Spanish predecessor of the G3) and sold it. Furniture was loose & wobbly, trigger sucked. Manual of arms was not to my liking at all, reloads were a pain in the ass. Sights were ok, and I didn't think it was too heavy, but the recoil was really ridiculous for a .308. Field stripping was easy, which is good because that blowback action gets FILTHY after just a few shots and requires frequent and thorough cleaning. The G3/CETME isn't a bad rifle. Just crude, obsolescent, and overpriced.

muzzle velocity is huge. great.. very deadly rifle.. and so accurate, hitting, in very very long distances.. -when shot! your ears cannot hear a hnig ( for examlpe MG3 is same ammo, but relaese is down under, so sound is more to the ground.. but at G3 , you cannot hear a thing after first shot.. and a real SHOULDER Puncher. and face puncher. between the era , single action long distance mauzers to automatic war beauties.. between them. mostly fired at SINGLE shot.. if needed, then make it to Automatic))) thanks - i know this rifle. in Turley it is like a national thing to everybody - and very heavy gun, in a comando, special force mounuvairs.. it is very long. very heavy.. but very deadly.

Don't get hurt! Garbage! Heavy! Ugly! So heavy that you get back pain! too long Unreliable. The cartridge often gets stuck in it. This gun will rust if it is not oiled. It should never be placed in water. Due to the small capacity of the magazine, i.e. only twenty bullets, its automatic mode is practically useless. A weapon is out of order. It is armed with four movements!!! While the M4 or AK47 is armed with only one movement
