Thank you, Soldiers & Tomb Guards! Interestingly, I always remembered Tomb Guard’s “Dedication”, etc., when: I served in ARMY ROTC 1965-67 ( Purdue Cadre, HONOR GUARD, SSG)……..

I've witnessed the Changing Of The Guard Ceremony many times. Very moving each time.

I want to go but I don't think I will be able to stop crying. It's such a honor for these men and women to honor our dead. And is also sad. Someone's child is in that tomb.

Many of my family and father’s friends are there, they wouldn’t wish you to be sad. They’d wish you to see the magnitude of it, the number of graves. Go visit, it’s an important life event if you care about what has kept us safe. Hopefully I wasn’t preachy, but going there as a teen impacted me in an undeniable way.
