This has to be the BEST explanation of how the Ukrainian conflict affects the entire globe. Thank you!!!! That explanation needs to be spread far and wide. The support for Ukraine is urgent, but governments aren't properly explaining it to their populations, so support for Ukraine is not as strong as it could be. Thank you.

I love Mark Rutte. He is a true leader and demands so much respect. Thank you, Mark, for your service to our world.

We need to show strength... give Ukraine the ability to repel Russia and make sure Putin can't bully sovereign countries.

Best wishes to Europe, NATO, Ukraine, from a New Zealander who believes that all small democratic countries around the world have to support Ukraine, just like we here in the Pacific need your support for Taiwan etc. My father fought in Greece, Crete, North Africa and Italy with the famous 20th Pakeha Battalion of the 1st Echelon, he was wounded and taken POW in Operation Crusader in North Africa. He said that the German Medics were great. He escaped with 18 others including Major General Howard Kippenberger. He then came back to New Zealand and after his recovery he Joined the 20th Armored Regiment. I love Europe, as a 5th Generation NZer of Norwegian,Scottish, Irish, German and English heritage. People do not know what a treasure really is democracy is. New Zealand had a Special Battalion for our great Māori brothers, it was the 28th Battalion, they were highly respected by their Pakeha comrades. Democracy is worth fighting for! Lest we forget!

I would cheer loudly when someone clearly states " We want Ukraine to win". Then, Russia will urgently go to the negotiations table.
Russia must understand! The world will not allow it to make Ukraine a second Georgia!!

Tusk from Poland said in connection with Estonia a few days ago, that the % for NATO membership had to raise to 4%, possiblely 4,7% in the future, next year?Funny thing is that Reuter is referring to Trump. US % is at the moment paying 3,5%, so also US have to raise its membership payment in case they want to stay in NATO.
@bsastarfire250Ай бұрын
I can't see that happening . I do think we need to increase spending and look at our industries in this new world .
Good press conference. Mark is impressive and will make a difference.

Maar uiteindelijk zal Rusland uiteenvallen. Torenhoge inflatie en een roebel in vrije val, Syrië kan weinig steun verwachten van Rusland en in Mali, Niger zal Rusland niet tegen IS op kunnen.

😂 Why does NATO have to publicly announce anything they do or plan on doing that's the part I don't understand.....🙈🙉🙊
@SerendipityChildАй бұрын
The point of NATO is to prevent WW3. It's not a great idea to sneak up on an authoritarian nuclear superpower, even if that is more tactical than signalling ahead

We need to isolate terror-states. Putin and his regime should be seen as a state of terror. Troops need to get in to Ukraine, find a way. But first of all send the strongest air-defence-systems avalible. Everything you can get your hands on. We can not let it be this hard for countrys that want to defend its democracy. We need to be there to help them. Members of NATO or not, we need to defend democracy. Freedom.

NATO Contributions should perhaps be worked out on population not how much it money produces annually, a country with 5-50m cannot match a country with 400m
