As a manga reader, there are few instances when a panel sparked a genuine reaction out of me. That bein said...the panel of Barou, after scoring, with his shirt off had me genuinely hyped. Has to be my fav goal in the series, though i do know of some goals that were better to witness. Its the circumstance and celebration that really draw you in man. Glorious King Barou, the GOAT of the series.

Fully agree. There are a couple of goals that were better but Barou's goal celebration was absolute hype. His goal had impressive and was incredibly dynamic which had a really great flow into the goal celebration, putting blue lock back on the map. I still think that u-20 is the best sports match in Manga history. Everybody gets to shine, the match took pretty much a full year and the pay-off was incredible.

I don’t think Rin was for blue lock, Sae even admitted that Isagi was the heart of the blue lock team at the time, not because he made a clutch goal, but because Isagi is one of the smartest players on the feild, however, the reason Sae may have seen Isagi as the heart and not Rin may be because he is biased, yk, them being brothers and all, it is close between Isagi and Rin though..

God when this gets animated I PRAY they are scrapping as much budget together as they can to not fuck this up. The art was just too beautiful in the manga for it to just get ruined by cgi roblox running shit. Every panel was straight up a work of art that needed to be framed. They honestly should’ve used the movie budget they had to make a movie for this whole arc alone instead of using it on the Episode Nagi movie. It would’ve made the U-20 arc as a whole much better off. I would honestly even say that this arc goes right along with some of the best arcs in anime and manga.
