Honestly, I sometimes wonder how did we get from everyone wanting to be a striker to now half of the cast just kind of falling AND staying in the other roles Obviously we have guys like Aiku, Hiori, Charles, who though Fuck em strikes, I want to be the best defender/mid fielder But the rest of the guys? I definitely get what you are saying, but I feel as though it does make sense from an ego and evolution standpoint. Some of the bluelock strikers didn’t really even have a striker mentality (Hiori, Aiku as you noted) but they were simply the best strikers in their area. Those with striker mentalities are still currently strikers for the most part. Like chigiri for example his mentality is to want to beat others with his speed more than necessarily being the best striker, and his position allows that. Aiku’s became not wanting any fraud strikers to make it past him if I remember correctly. How many players with a “I will be the number 1 striker” mentality aren’t at striker?
