Sure not many characters die, but when they do it’s impactful as hell and one of the reasons why it’s peak fiction. That’s what Fairy Tail lacks, the author refuses to do the same and always play it safe with the same routine plots oh and shoving in fan service too. Heck it can basically be summed up as this: 1. Fairy Tail chillin then some Dark Guild out of nowhere comes and wrecks some shit. 2. Fairy Tail guild wrecks their shit and after some admittedly cool fight scenes, through solely power of friendship beat said dark guild and literally nothing changes or consequences come and everything remains the same as before. If it wasn’t for the cast being endearing this problem be so much worse for me.
