I have chronic depression, anxiety, and migraines and I watch and rewatch this show and it really has helped me to relax and overall improved my mood. I've cried, laughed, yelled and everything just every emotion watching it and it just felt amazing to feel for once connected to a show and relate. The story and just everything about it had me roped in the moment I begun watching it. This may be exaggerated in my intense emotion at the moment but, I just hope others with any condition whether it be similar or not enjoy or have enjoyed this show as I did.

This show is really something ain't it? Anime rn don't have the same feel or does it help with any mental illness, this is like therapy. You can relate to natsume even tho you can't see yokai, we relate to his pain of loneliness and from the cruel reality of humans. Watching him fight through the pain and keep moving forward is so inspiring that it will make you want to work hard too. hope you get Aleast a little bettet😔

The feels .... p-p .... Natsume Yuujinshou was one of the 4 Anime's I remembered very well because they made me cry! 😭 I just looove this anime! I was about to buy the DVD's on Amazon when I got money again!
