I continued taking both for a year, with complete elimination of shoulder pain. What continues to amaze me is that the pain never returned. I mention this partly because I see your number one recommended capsule contains both. I'm 75 years old. Thanks for your video!

In the body that could be scar tissue, the outside layer of viruses, protein from foods and more. The shoulder injury may have had some scar tissue from damage healing. Nattokinase is an enzyme that helps digest protein. The theory about why it is of benefit is that it helps digest the fibrin in the bloodstream, and that fibrin is present in excess in older people. Following that logic, it is sometimes recommended to take the stuff on an empty stomach, because otherwise it is apt to use itself up digesting the protein in the food eaten. Anyway, around four months ago I went of a twelve hour fasting diet. That is, not eating anything for twelve hours, with most of those hours being overnight. Along with the diet, I took around 1,000 FU's of nattokinase during the fasting period. Because I didn't expect rapid improvement, I was surprised when after a little more than two months my high blood pressure reduced considerably. That and better mental clarity, perhaps brought on by reduced blood blockage in the carotid arteries. Said blockage being one of my health issues. Anyway, the stuff is highly recommended by me.
@Divocwax

It should not need a randomized controlled trial (RCT). Even if "other factors" were responsible for the reduction in artery plaque, the mere fact that plaque was reversed means that most doctors are suspect because they tell people it cannot be reversed. RCTs can sometimes be used to delay. They can also be used to bury case reports.

Thank you very much for such valuable information Danny. I'm an Irish woman unable to walk anymore, with MS for many years, living in London. I bought nattokinase from Amazon a while ago but forgot all about it. Just swallowed 2 now. If you ever consider doing a podcast on MS, I'd very much appreciate it. In case you do, I'll tell you and others about the things that seem to help me and also those that cause problems. I've had to be very cautious of the impact of foods that cause heat in my body (the MAJOR problem is mílk + any dairy product, coffee hurts too and eggs surprisingly, I have to be mindful of grains too so my favourite foods are no more). I feel terrible at times and get it wrong most days but 1. Soya Milk and 2. lots of water calm the information. Water by itself is only a partial help. I've listened to podcasts saying Omega 6s cause inflation and Omega 3s don't (if that's true, that will explain a lot of my food choices/avoidages). I really don't know if salt is good or bad ... found lots of podcasts saying both scenarios are good Is it true that companies take out the Omega 3s and put Omega 6s in for shelf life (if that's true, no wonder croissants and bread lasts so long! Thank you, I can't type any more. ❤❤❤

The FDA is in bed with big Pharma and whenever there is an opportunity to ban an effective, cheap supplement they will; especially when pharma can use that ingredient as part of a Frankenstein concoction to make billions. Just look what they did during COVID by banning NAC.

HI great summary of the study conducted on Nattokinase! I just had one observation, and maybe it has been discussed, if so I apologize I missed it. I believe in that study there was actually an appreciable synergistic effect of combining the Nattokinase with low dose daily aspirin, and not much of a gain using Nattokinase in combination with Vitamin K2 vs the group using just the Nattokinase. Did you see this as well?

You are correct, however I can't make pharmaceutical recommendations, even though Asprin is fairly benign. Those in the study were also under the supervision of doctors, so in the unfortunate event of an AE, those problems would be addressed medically right away. Great thing about the study was the huge benefit without the need for a drug.

I agree that whole food is generally better. However, I have two concerns in this case. One concern is how much clean (Glyphosate free) soy Natto is available in today's world of Roundup Ready (Glyphosate tolerant) soybeans. My second concern is how much of the enzyme from Natto actually gets through since your body will do a big digestive enzyme dump when it sees the food coming. This could possibly digest most of the proteolytic enzymes and is why they advise taking proteolytic enzymes on an empty stomach.

In the carniovore lifestyle, cholesterol poses no problem. Sugars, carbohydrates and vegetable fats, which are unnatural for humans, cause inflammation, including in the arteries. In Carniovore, the harmfulness of coffee and caffeine products is "forgotten". Caffeine is a plant-produced poison and pesticide that causes inflammation in humans. This is not taken into account enough, because everyone is addicted to caffeine. You will notice the difference only when you stop using it completely. It took me over a year to wean off caffeine. Only then had all the uric acid crystals formed by the caffeine left my system.

Any information on Lumbrokinase having the same benefits, but being safer because it doesn't continue to work if the body doesn't need it at the time?
@natural-informant
@natural-informant Жыл бұрын
Lumbrokinase is promising, however many people prefer Nattokinase since it is vegan and not ground up earthworms, or an earthworm extract. Also, there is more research on Nattokinase for more than just blood health. However, both enzymes are safe in the fact that they support additional fibrinolytic activity, they do not turn off an enzyme reaction in the way a blood thinner does. If there isn’t any immune system “marked” fibrin to be broken down, both enzymes will simply go towards amino acid needs.

Natto 納豆 is a normal thing to eat here in Japan. I'm curious how eating natto compares to nattokinase intake.
@natural-informant
@natural-informant 2 ай бұрын
Natto food contains roughly 1000-2000 fu per serving(50grams), so it’s about the same as a typical nattokinase supplement serving. The downside is that you have to eat it every day to reap the same benefits as a supplement, and many users will benefit from much more that 2,000fu per day, making natto food even weaker in comparison. However, the biggest upside is that natto food contains B.Subtilis, prebiotics, Vitamin K2, and many other nutrients that are filtered out when making a nattokinase supplement.

Thanks for this info on this supplement - I suspect I may have some artheriosclerosis because my legs often feel tired - not painful but heavy and tired. Is there some kind of test one can do to find out if it is in fact artheriosclerosis. Last week I asked my Dr if I could see a vascular surgeon and she said I'm not a candidate for seeing this kind of Dr

Ive taken Natto twice and both times I landed in hospital with a small stroke. I have limited use of my r ight hand now. Do you think as Natto breaks up plaque it causes the stroke? I rea lly need it but I am afraid to try ot again. Thx for any information on this.a

That’s terrible Maureen. The process of breaking down excess fibrin is a natural and fundamental human process. The enzymes in natto only assist with this normal process, so I highly doubt this was the cause. However, anything is possible. You should try to find a DO in your area that can monitor your blood if you would like to continue taking enzymes, I’d you can’t find one, an integrative MD should be able to help you. Good luck🍻

are there any studies that show a lowering of of cac scores using natto kinase?
@natural-informant
@natural-informant Жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, there may be some studies that show at least a correlation between the two. However, nattokinase for the most part only works on cross linked fibrin, which is one of the main components of arterial plaque, but it is a protein. This enzyme will not have a direct effect on minerals like calcium, however there is a wide body of evidence when it comes to Vitamin K2 and CAC scores. I posted a study link below, but if you search for vitamin K2 and CAC reduction you’ll find a ton of them.🍻 bit.ly/41TDewz

The recommended product Neprinol AFD contains 15000FU per capsule, and the manufacturer recommends 2-9 capsules per day. Is there any research showing that 30,000 to 135,000FU per day is safe?
@natural-informant
@natural-informant Жыл бұрын
The manufacturer does have an open-label study that had participants take 9 capsules a day. The study is waiting to be published, but you can definitely contact them to get more research. In my opinion, enzymes are almost impossible to overdose on since they are not preventing a chemical reaction from occurring in the way that pharmaceutical drugs do. The enzymes in Neprinol are simply giving your body the tools needed to carry out the cleansing process that it’s already trying to carry out. Extra enzymes just means more tools, but enzymes don’t break down living tissue. If there aren’t any toxins left to digest, extra enzymes will be used as regular amino acids since that’s what they are on the foundational level.

Hi, you mentioned that the Neprinol product had 15,000 FU of nattokinase per capsule. But the bottle label says the 15,000 FU is a blend of serrapeptase, nattokinase and lipase, which suggests a lot less nattokinase than 15,000 FU. Is there any way of finding out how much nattokinase is really in the capsules? For all we know there might be 10,000 serrapeptase in the blend. Nothing wrong with that it's a decent enzyme, but the main study you reference in your video used 10,800 FSU of nattokinase a day.

Good morning Archie, unfortunately the Neprinol formula is proprietary, I wish it wasn’t. However I have reviewed 3rd party testing of several different lots of the product. If you test the entire formula as a whole, it tests at well over 60,000 FU for the blend, this is because of side activity of all the other enzymes aside from nattokinase. However, the company tells me that proper labeling GMP guidelines don’t allow that type of labeling, you can only list activity of individual enzymes based on the original ingredients added. I have reviewed the COA for Neprinol, and it contains 15,000 FU/capsule of nattokinase and 45,000 SPU/capsule of serrapeptase. The company tells me they label this way to prevent knockoffs, and so that people associate the benefits of the product with Neprinol, not with a list of enzymes, since comparing apples to apples with different multi-enzyme formulas is impossible. You can request any of the information I mentioned by emailing them if you like. sales@arthurandrew.com 🍻

For CVD, should I get the Neprinol or simply the Nattovena (nattokinase pure). Isn't Neprinol too strong and does it have any impact on coagulation? Should we stop low dose aspirin while on it?

Enzymes can be very strong, especially when beginning. Try emptying out half of the capsule for a few days and make sure you’re drinking at least 1oz of water per KG, or 2.2lbs of bodyweight.
