Toms toothpaste is not as natural as most people think. In fact, it's owned by Colgate. Toms toothpaste contains aluminum, zinc chloride, titanium dioxide, SLS, etc. You should try David's toothpaste. That way you're using something that is much more natural and also supporting a great business. Also, they list all their ingredients on their website and the purpose for each ingredient :)

Super happy to hear that you switched to natural beauty products! :) My favorite brands make up wise are RMS and kjaer weis. Lovely products and formulations, especially their cream blushes! Plus they come in sustainable packaging too! After I switched to natural beauty products, I quickly found out that you don´t really need a thousand different products and can easily make a lot of stuff yourself as well, so I basically use a lot of oils as my moisturiser for face and body, I use aleppo soap as a face wash and even make my own toothpaste and deodorant now. xx

I would love to see a washroom tour. I constantly search videos of minimalist/decluttered washrooms .. I’ve been on a decluttering journey and trying to use up lotions and body products and it makes me so happy to see decluttered washrooms with products people consider their must have/essential products

It's great to see more people are thinking about what they're putting into and onto their bodies here on YT! I love Nature's Answer PerioBrite mouthwash. I'm not a big fan of mint (they have two mint varieties if you are) so I use the Cinnamint. It tastes great and you can get it from Vitacost and Wholefoods. I was not a fan of the PerioBrite toothpaste but the mouthwash is amazing and leaves my breath and teeth feeling clean and refreshed. Natural deodorant is probably the most difficult product to replace. I tried a lot of c-f natural brands and either they don't work, give me a rash or they made me feel wet/sweat more (ah hem - I'm talking about Lavanilla on the last one). I now use a crystal stone or the Crystal spray deodorant. I have to wash my pits twice a day which is inconvenient but I'm willing to do it to keep fresh. Schmidt's was recent sold (angry face) to Unilever so I won't buy theirs anymore but they have some new varieties in pots that are pretty good. Good luck with your journey to clean beauty. It's hard in the beginning but it get easier I promise!

100% pure is an incredible brand - it's definitely a bit more pricey, but it does not disappoint and the products last a long time because a little goes a long way. Definitely check them out! Also, Leahlani is a company based on Kuaui and the products are gorgeous. The range is super small, but their masks are TO DIE FOR. Acure is great as well - and affordable! I don't like their masks too much, but their brightening face scrub is a holy grail. Their moisturizing shampoo and conditioner are miracle workers. Their cleansers have been great as well! I'm so excited that you're diving into natural beauty! I started making the switch 5 years ago and slowly (as to not be wasteful and to be more economic) I replaced products with natural options. I hope you continue to search for different brands than what you see in stores because for the most part, the really great quality products are from small companies. That's the most beautiful thing about the natural beauty community is you can really get away from feeding into huge corporations and support entrepreneurs!

Once you start researching what’s in makeup, you’ll freak! tons of chemicals and mostly “shelf-life” ingredients that’ll damage your skin and age you way quicker. That was a great video, Allison! I’m so happy to see beauty KZbinr getting interested in this topic. Regarding mouthwash: I make my own with filtered water (I fill up a used mouth wash bottle, so maybe about one liter?), three teaspoons spoons of baking soda, 5-7 drops cloves essential oil and 5-7 drops peppermint essential oil. Works like a charm! Regarding deodorant: you can have allergic reactions to baking soda in deodorant (this is usually specific to skin and doesn’t mean that you can’t eat it, but be careful), so look out for that. I find that the package free solid deodorant from lush works quite well. There are also a million diy recipes out there :) Otherwise, I am interested in the beauty products from Pure but I haven’t tried them yet. I’d be interested what you as a beauty guru think of them :) Cheers, Juliet

This video makes me so happy because I love seeing other people become more enlightened and aware of the chemicals present in their everyday personal care products. Not only are you helping your health, but you're also voting with your dollar to support businesses with a worthy, more sustainable cause. I have a few recommendations for you in the realm of natural personal care products. For a natural mouthwash that leaves your mouth feeling fresh, but not dry or with a residual film, I would recommend that you try out Dessert Essence's Tea Tree Oil mouthwash (they also have a spearmint flavour, although I haven't tried that one yet). As for deodorant, I would highly recommend that you try out Native deodorant, as it is phenomenal. Native deodorant not only helps to keep sweat at bay, without being an antiperspirant, but they also come in a ton of amazing all-natural scents (Coconut-Vanilla is my personal fave and apparently a favourite for many other users as well!). I have a referral code for Native, if you wish to use it and try out their deodorant: refer.nativecos.com/x/dDMH3y

Thank you so much for information! Acure body lotion is my favorite right now , it makes your skin sooo soft. Since I really like Argan Oil I’ve been using Acure Organics Lemongrass + Moroccan Argan Oil and it was just perfect for me! Also if you just like me love Argan Oil I would recommend body lotion by Karaaw. It’s 100% pure Argan Oil Products. I love it too and the smell is amazing !
