same i have given up my research..almost ... So far i have read from various sources telling how to spot a fake and real citrine ..only to show what they claim is a " real" one with 3 or more charactoristics they just told u was a tell of a fake one. I gave up ,,ordered what are probably either glass or heat treated quartz points because they give off a decent vibe of at least looking real and pretty with some clarity in parts without breaking the bank.

95% of all Citrine on the global market is is treated. It’s a very common practice in the industry. If there were no heat treatments, there would be no citrine in jewellery stores.
