Despite all of our technological advances and scientific progress, the manner in which the Medieval people experienced natural disasters, is exactly identical to how we experience them today. We think we’ve come so far. On the contrary, we have built a civilization and society which is so dependent upon our technology, that we have left ourselves more vulnerable to natural disasters than ever before in the history of man.

Each to their own I guess, but I find it soooo dumb and lowest common denominator. "He farted hahaha!" And it's about John Bull / King George III (ruled 1760-1820) so has nothing at all to do with the topic. This is the purest form of clickbait. But clearly it works. A few years from now, maybe all youtube clips will have thumbnails of people farting, regardless of the topic. And simpletons will think it's hysterically funny, until it doesn't work anymore. Then something even more stupid will be called for to get quick clicks.

Same thing, historians dislike the term 'Dark Ages' and who can blame them. If you spent all your time studying the period you wouldn't want a péjorative term like the 'Dark Ages' used.
