Great job Dean. Yesterday, I also turned a heavily spalted, natural edge (bark-on) bowl. (yours looks better), and now seeing your video, I gleaned a couple of "I did not do it exactly correctly" tips .. Thanks!

Great job. I don't quite understand how the chuck connected to the inside of the bowl when you were finishing up the bottom.

Thank You!!! The chuck has a piece of wood in it with a mouse pad between the piece of wood and the inside bottom of the bowl. The pressure of the Tail Stock holds it in place to remove the bottom. I hope this helps.
