I love these they're so realistic for me. I be watching videos where their hair grew dramatically in 6 months and it discourages me. This is similar to the results I get so I appreciate this video. Your hair is perfect! 😍😍😍

That's awesome hair growth in a matter of 6 months. I've checked my hair from my first salon visit back in April(I haven't been in 5yrs until April) and my hair is now mid upper chest length.

Do you think that your new routine where you limit oils and butters is causing more breakage and keeping you from retaining as much length?
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Well, I still seal the ends of my hair with them, but maybe I need to do it more regularly as before, so will definitely be experimenting over the next few months. Thanks for your comment.

@@HealthyAfroHair Asking because when I tried it all seemed okay at first, but then I started to experience more knots and tangles and more breakage due to friction. I like having my hair light, but the oils, butters and/or creams reduce the amount of friction when I manipulate my hair. Also keeps my ends from shrinking up as much. I also have type 4C hair. xoxo

@@lisaj4441 Ahh…ok, I see! Coming to think about it, I did stop using oils/butters for a couple of months before I started adding it to just the ends of my hair, but I’m not 💯 sure if that may have been part of the cause. But as I said, I’ll be switching things up to see.

Can relate with you in this video, after my trim feel like all the maintenance didn't translate to growth/length but at least its healthy. Need to remember our hair has growth cycles so we need to elongate the Anagen *growth* phase of the hair cycle. Love your videos always inspiring ❤
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Aww…thanks, glad you enjoy them! ☺️ Yes, I mentioned about growth cycles in one of my previous updates and also, it could be many other factors, so I don’t worry about it so much. But as I said, it’s a hair journey, so the main thing is taking care of our hair and keeping it healthy.

Thanks for sharing Julie. I remember when you first started your natural hair journey. I stopped the relaxers with the Pandemic. Now trying natural hair but do like the silk press and curl. I’ve really learned a lot from you. Thanks again. Good work.💐💕

Hey Shirley, thanks and you’re very welcome. I’m glad you’re learning lots ☺️ How do you find the condition of your hair after doing silk presses? Does it revert back ok? 💕

Beautiful hair! I've been natural for about 3 years but have never seen a stylist. Do you know any good natural hair stylist in the South London area you could recommend?

Praise God everyone because Jesus loves us so much that he wants us to spend eternity with him in heaven. So confess your sins and repent for he is merciful and loving enough to forgive you. Confess that Jesus is Lord and savior and believe in your heart that he died and God raised him from the dead and you'll be saved. Please share the gospel and be alert in the full armor of God against the tricks of the devil coz prophecy is being fulfilled and Jesus is coming back soon. Live for him and him alone by seeking him with all your hearts and keeping his commands. God bless y'all.
