Natural hair Journal in Pictures. Big Chop Dec 2019

I made the decision in May 2019 to drop all the heat styling and chemical relaxers and start prepping my hair for a natural rebirth.
I'd been relaxing my hair since I was 12 years old. sorry I don't have pics of my younger days available.
Now I'm mid 40s it's time to embrace and rediscover my hair in its natural form.
I let my hair grow out a bit from May till December, then big chopped all the relaxer out in December 2019, it's my 1st anniversary of the big chop and I have zero regrets.
it's a beautiful journey of discovery of self. I'm loving it!
