Yayy!! I love long videos like this. We love an educated hairstylist who doesn’t gatekeep products. Y’all Prinshell is the best. I don’t even live in Houston but I’ve taken flights and I’ve driven several times to see her. Prinshell SAVED my hair from the damage curly cuts did. You did an absolutely fabulous job! ❤ As, watching this video was a true pleasure from beginning to end! 😊😊😊😊 I wanted to speak up about this, in regards to wash n gos and other wet styles. In cosmetology school, those types of styles aren’t even taught. So, as a professional licensed cosmetologist, individuals that consistently wearing wash n gos and other wet styles is engaging in the least healthiest way to maintain natural hair overall and can in many cases cause un-necessary hair shaft and scalp disorders to occur on their heads as a result of such?

Oh wow that you so much for watching and for the compliment! You are absolutely correct about the wash n go. Allow natural hair to air dry throughout the day with product, oils, gels, etc. can cause excessive shedding & dryness. Also, scalp issue from allowing the scalp to remain wet for longer cause yeast overgrowth which then turns into bigger issues like scalp disorders. I always recommend that my clients sit under a warm dryer or defuse it until the scalp is completely dry. I hope I was able to clarify that for you💜

Was that the Nairobi Pamperfuse or Nairobi Soft Finish leave in that you sprayed all over the hair? Is that the Nairobi foaming lotion you use on the individual sections as you detangle? Thanks!

Yes I do! I missed that part of recording. Every section gets sprayed with a water based heat protectant prior to me using my Revair blowdryer

What water-based heat protectant do you recommend?

I use Aquage (professional line) but you can also use Tresemme (black bottle with red spray nozzle) & CHI which are both sold in Walmart

I'm all the way in south Africa I have thick hair but it doesn't grow a length it grows thick and bushy then it dries out what do you recommend I use
