This type of lighting is great when we shoot both photos and video in the same session as it matches up and keeps things simple for both shooters

Thank you for this video! Great info for some people just starting out with off camera light. I use Rotolights just for the diversity. Flash, continuous and can change color temp.

Great video! I love continuous lighting. Since I started to get really into toy photography as a hobby, they're almost always what I use, albeit much smaller scale than the lights you'd use (Ulanzi, Weeylite, and Lumecube). They're RGB in addition to having a range of light temperatures so I get a lot of flexibility. I can't remember the last time I had to break out my flashes.

As far as what you feel like sending your camera to advise using whatever is most comfortable and fastest for you personally. Whatever gets the job done

Very cool video, I like those lights. 2 Question, do you have any videos on Step Up Rings (SUR)? (1). I have a 135mm 2.8 GM and and a bunch of primes but I do not quite fully understand SUR yet. ...i do not want to be buying lots of separate ND filters for the various size lenses I have. (2). Your all time fav camera back pack. Thank you!

Hi Vanessa, still hesitating between this L-60B and now very popular molus x100 cheap, compact, bowens adapter, diffusers,... and, why not, even cheaper and lighter Molus G60 combo (but requires a powerpack however) . what is your feeling ?
@VanessaJoy

Hmmmm I don’t have any experience With the molus so I really couldn’t give you a good comparison. I feel like @lastxwitness would probably know some good pros and cons about them

Your settings highlight the one big drawback of continuous lighting - 1/160 at f1.2 and it still needs ISO 800. BUT - most cameras from the last 6-8 years are still great at ISO800, and it can make it easier to shoot at those large apertures. Can become a problem if you're not shooting with primes like this, but still a great option. Thanks!

Yes that’s definitely the big strobe vs continuous light difference is lower level - BUT sometimes you want that lower power level that a strobe can’t give so it’s all about the right tool for the job, and I’m definitely blessed to have pretty nice tools ☺️ ❤️
