I think this is fantastic. Love it! I’m definitely going to make this. You only used someone else’s wrap top as inspiration, so I would personally claim this crochet pattern version as your own...it is yours, you did all the working out and making it, so it is your design. Lots of other people who have designed crochet patterns/tutorials take inspiration from looking at normal clothing then create their own version of it. You did good girl. X

When I had seen this, I imagined someone that works at a desk alllll dayyyyy long getting a little chilly & needing something like this to keep the chill off. This is a much more stylish way to keep warm than using grannies cardi. Also, to keep the panel up, use a nice pin or clip. I def wouldn't be wearing this on its own. I would wear a cami under it at a minimum. Thanks for sharing this simple pattern with us all xx

Believe it or not I just ordered this sweater. It can be worn in a number of ways. If you wrap it from the front and go around your waist in back and put your arms thru on opposite sides, you can pull up the front (like a tube top) and up on the shoulders as a top. I wish I had seen this b4 I ordered it. I may still make it for Xmas gifts. Great job.

@@kiettprince8568 You can actually do a search and find it, but they have it on Amazon, Romwe and Shein to name a few. BEWARE, I received mine and they are a little small. Be sure to if they say One Size and you wear a medium or large it may not wrap well. I am going to make this one so I can make it larger. I may give them for X-mas gifts or sell them.

This is so cute - when I was new to crochet - I tried making this - it suppose to literally wrap around you like a mini blanket and the sleeves are there to keep it from falling off. I followed the pattern from - Bag-o-day.

@jessicaknutson45025 жыл бұрын
About 5 years ago, I made seven of these for a friends wedding. All of her bridesmaids wore them (April in Wisconsin!) and they turned out great. I knit them (I knit and crochet) and it took 1 skein of Caron One Pound for each sweater. I did not make long sleeves though - they basically just wrapped around the shoulders.

Hey Danielle! So I just first want to start by saying OH MY GOODNESS YOU have done it again like always with these patterns! And I follow you on social media I see what is going on and it breaks my heart that people are like that in the world. But to be honest girl if you were going to sell this pattern and not post it I would have bought it from you because your videos are the reason I started back crocheting after I gave up on myself! Your videos are the reason I have so much more passion and belief in myself. You have a right to be salty because people are shady and I don't know why people can't give credit where it's due. I pray whatever choices you make with doing your videos or posting on your blog since people are stealing your patterns that it doesn't make you give up. You're beyond talented and blessed! But don't apologize for how you feel, or how you've been acting. Your human and love💜 I pray God continues to bless you and you continue to move up. You are a blessing to so many of us and you deserve it💜

Thank you for sharing this video! I’m trying to attempt this kind of wrap/sweater myself. It’s not as straight forward as I thought it was going to be-I’m trying to follow a pattern which I have no idea if I’m reading it right or Not, lol, so I’m trying to wing it too. I’m way more of a visual learner. But, note that I’m watching your video, I think I may have to frog it and try it your way, especially doing it with the separate sleeves. I also love the idea of sewing it together into the desired design, because the front does look like it might open up. Anyway, thank you for sharing 😊

This is what I have wanted to make but was unsure how to make it. I will not cross it like you did but use it more like a half shawl half sweater.
