Hey gurl, hey, so here's how I went from a burgundy red to a orange/copper color without using bleach. I'll leave all the products I used in the description box below. Shout out to everyone who went through the red hair phase this year- it was lit! Lol I recently went from a deep red back to dark brown. I sat under the dryer while processing the color remover. Worked like a charm. Deep conditioning is going to be key after using the remover. Your hair turned out cute, girl!

question, if I have no color in my hair can I skip straight to just using French cognac and cajun spice colors and get this color result? Or are all steps and colors required? Thank you 🧡

@@curvesandcosmos it depends on your hair. Is it Virgin? Is it black or dark brown?

@@curvesandcosmos The french cognanac and cajun spice are more temporary dyes and used as glazes. If your hair is light a sandy brown and natural you can go over it with those shades but it's not going to come up as bright. If you have sandy brown like a dirty blonde kinda it'll appear as that orangey copper and if it's more on the darker sandy brown side it's only gnna show a hint of that color. If you're trying to avoid using bleach in your hair then the safest alternative to do at home on your won would be to buy the high hi color is the soft auburn shade then go over it with that cajun spice and cognac. The copper hicolor would appear more orange where as the soft auburn or light auburn is gunna be a more subtle red that you can go back over wiht a temporary glaze.

I learned you can use it on the part that's been dyed but you have to use a lower volume developer

I love the colour but it still falls into a red tone- I do hairdressing and the reason why is the molecules from your red when you used the colour remover have shrunken the particles down so the red will reduce in tone- but the colouring process over the top with the deep oranges almost reactive the hidden red retained particles which then enrich the red tone to burn into the new orange shade- in the future try and lift the base colour out with two washes of the colour remover- however give it a couple of days in between the colour removal process- in between it would be good to try the vitamin c treatment to just help remove and buff out retaining molecules- then when you colour your hair try and keep to the more slightly brighter orange not the deep orange- shadow root the band with a shade one tone darker then feather the shadow up just past the band- This is just my advice how I would do this but it looks amazing and suits you ❤
