Where you just said it took 10 years because there were layers that had to be removed instantly made me feel better about myself! I feel like I’m taking forever to become submissive to God. Like I’m going over the mountain and through the woods to get to the Lord 🤦🏻♀️. But I’m getting so close now, I can feel it; it’s been 8 years since I got saved. Isn’t it amazing how he waits for us for us❣️

Mmmmm. I feel that! Bless you sis. 🙌🏼 ❤ But I hear the Lord saying to specifically tell you He isn’t waiting on you but he says He is waiting WITH you. And He is ON that mountain and IN those woods WITH you too. “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…” Zechariah 4:10 NLT --- Keep going sis… 💪🏼❤

Wow!!! Pastor Tim, I truly thank God for your honesty. I just love it. Please pray for me. I'm going through some unwanted struggles that I've been dealing with practically all my life. I'm seeking out counseling, because this issue is preventing me from being the true servant of God that Christ called me to be. I really wish I could speak to you in person.

I'm not sure how young boys or men get introduced to pornography but it's effects are far reaching. When predators use this as tool to groom victims it's even worse. These boys and young men then introduce partners to it and incorporate the use of pornography in sexual encounters. The fact that he discussed the layers that needed to be uncovered and sloughed off after the molestation is something that most people need to understand. I love that he discussed the lengthy process involved in uncovering the damage done throughout the years which you try to cover up with "presenting issues" (symptoms) as you go into a therapist's office. Intimate encounters have to change dramatically as you are now having to relate in a way that may seem completely new or strange. Non sexual touch and emotional intimacy may not be a currency that you are used to and it may take awhile for a new person to understand. The objectification and emotional distance in sexual relationships accompany shame, self hatred, obsessive and compulsive behaviors, secrecy and hypersexuality to name a few. For a new partner this can be unbearable as the struggle to accommodate this sexual appetite may seem overwhelming

I’d have to disagree with the Pastor on his claim that we can’t be more righteous. We’re saved by grace but are called to live a more righteous lives every day by knowing more of God and being diligent in our walk of faith. His claim that we can’t be more righteous is dangerously misleading. Otherwise great interview.

@@kevinongiri3601 Maybe God the Holy spirit has nothing to do with it, Perhaps we chose to come here to prove our loving faith to God without his intervention no matter what, The Plan, This Plane, This Planet. A test of our Faith that we agreed to nothing more than that, Let's say that everything here is trying to distract us from God and Get us lost in this Place, The Place of the Prince, The Prince of this World, The Deceiver, The Great Dragon of lies. He also fell here also to rule, so we may all become lost and never find our way back to God. Just another opinionated view of what it might or might not be.... No one really knows anything of the purpose, the reason to life. I know nothing.
