Hey Rae 💓 I'm glad to see you try this. I haven't heard much chatter around it. My styling cream used to be really thick and cottage cheese like too. I'm glad to see the new version is creamier. I don't think your hair looks bad but I can't standddd that gummy feeling. Thanks for sharing!

hi rae 🤗 i liked the final results but the dusty crumbs can be deal breaker, especially if you tried the gel with different leave-ins. in my recent product empties video i said - just try to get to the bottom of the container and don't repurchase 🤣😂 tfs

Hi Rae. That shine is amazing. I tried that gel custard prior and I wasn’t a fan. My hair is very frizz prone and I found it didn’t control my frizz. I do like the curl primer from the line but it’s been hard to find in my area. I thought I heard you mention once that you had low porosity hair. If so, Texture ID has a new low porosity line if products. I want a fan but I would be curious to see your results if you ever decide to try them. FYI the gel to that line has NO HOLD. The shine only last until the hair is dry, then it looks dull and dusty. I have seen the low porosity line, but I'm not really interested. They have silicones, as well, so I prefer to stick to the original line. Thanks for the feedback and for tuning in.💛

Hello, Rae! I still love your hair results. However, when you show the curl gel, and the amount you use. I was saying Nooooo…. A little goes a long way! Trust me! It has a lot of glycerin . My hair hates it! But, your hair is a lot thicker than mine. Maybe use less in your next tutorial.🤔 Also, I believe Sally change the formula on the styling creme. It’s more creamier, and not the original pudding or putty texture. ( I wish they would have left it alone). 🤷🏽‍♀️ My curls don’t have the same hold. So, I won’t be repurchasing it anymore.😞 Still enjoyed watching the tutorial though. Continue bringing those great contents, as always! 🥰 Have a Great Sunday!

Hi Karen! I used way less gel the second time around and I still don't like the feel and look of my hair. The definition is there, but the dull/dusty look is a no for me. I haven't tried the Texture ID cream alone yet, so I can't tell if the hold is different, but the consistency is definitely different. I hope they didn't change the formula and mess up a good thing. My hair is a bit kinkier than yours, fine strands and high porosity. I love the curl primer from this line and custard together. However, my hair enjoys silicones and I know you typically do not like them on your hair. I use more curl primer and just light finger tap of custard per section on wet hair and I get soft bouncy results. Never ceases to amaze me how different and unique everyone’s head of curls are. Sorry it did not work for you 😢.

I've tried that custard with the leave-in and gel from the same line before and got flakes. I thought I was heavy handed, so I used a lighter touch the second time and still got a snowstorm. I was disappointed because my hair was soft and touchable.🫤
