You can do a series of videos where you go into depth doe each product category. Ex: a video of your fav shampoos and break down to moisturing, co-wash, clarifying. And do the same for conditoners, stylers, tools and oils, etc. This video is still great because you get an overview and mini-review of each of your overall favorites for the year.

I do a week of favorites every year where I break down my favorite shampoos, conditioers, gels, etc. Go to my favorites playlist and you'll see them. I appreciate the suggesion, though, and am open to more. Thanks for tuning in.

Really like these uploads. Love, love, love CRN Coconut Water leave in. Just discovered the newer conditioner in the same line works best for me on my low porosity fine coils as a deep conditioner with some heat or steam. The Eden BW Lavender Aloe deep conditioner is a staple too. It is like a spa treatment with the strong yet relaxing lavender aroma. Unfortunately, I have not yet seen it on the ground. I agree with all of your cowash and clarifying cleansers. I want to repurchase that Eden tea tree. I love a minty tingle. I love that As I Am leave in and I agree. It needs more hype. I love soooo many of these products on your list. I need to tap back in with Camille Rose.

Love all the CR products you mention, especially the Curlaide. I try other things but always come back to CR when I want something I know works. I still need to try her other collections, mainly stick to signature and coconut. Great list. Thank you😊

Have you tried Ms. Jessies pillow soft and/or Jelly soft curls? Some do combo. I use Avarazilla leave in with Jelly soft from Jessies too as combo. Both are successful.

Thank you! I used Kinky Tresses for this twist out. I think Eden BodyWorks is slept on. They are nice, affordable products that you can find most places. They aren't top of the line, but they aren't bottom of the barrel either. A nice brand for someone just starting their journey and don't want to break the bank. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks for another great video. I might have to give Camille Rose another try. I tried her Spiked Honey Mousse and the scent was overwhelming. You mentioned Design Essentials, I just picked up one at Target the African Chebe Mousse and leave in. It smells great and I got a good Wash and go. Happy Holidays!

I'm glad you liked the video. I really like the Camille Rose signature line and the coconut water line. I've only tried the mousse from the spiked honey line, and you are right, the smell was very strong. I didn't care too much for it. As I Am reformulated the coconut co-wash recently and one other thing I can’t remember. If you’re passionate about any of their products, you might want to grab up the old formulations while you can.

I want to believe that As I Am has solid cosmetic scientists on deck and their ingredients have not changed since I've known them for more than 7 years except for the correction that was mandated by FDA for the correct ingredients listing they made by removing their Extracts in the first five and placing them in the middle of the list where they belong.

@ I would like to believe a lot of things, but the reality is that a lot of companies make changes that benefit their bottom lines, not necessarily their consumers, especially as the cost of ingredients rise (or so they say) 😔. I received this email on 8/12/24 from As I Am: “We’ve been working hard to make our beloved Classic Coconut Cowash and Classic Leave In Conditioner even better. We’ve made a few tweaks to the formulas, including adding cleaner ingredients, more moisturizing and strengthening properties, and ceramides to boost hair health.” I could be wrong, but this doesn’t sound like they just rearranged a few words on the ingredients label. Sounds like they reformulated. I’m not loyal to their products, so I’ll never know if the new formulas are actual improvements as they claim, but I sure hope so for Rae’s sake. Everyone’s hair won’t respond well to the new formula, and that sucks, but I guess it’s good news for the folks who didn’t respond well to the old version. If you’re a fan of their products, I hope these newer formulas work out for you! 🤞🏾

@schoolwerk3744 wow, I never knew you got a newsletter and hopefully they don't tamper with that Leave-In however, if they do, there are a lot of alternatives such as Mielle Pomegranate, Kinky Curly Knot, Aunt Jackie's Quench that work perfectly.

Thank you for your video (I also like AJ Ice Curls), however, I’ve never paired it with the mousse. I saw your previous video when you used both); what difference do you notice when you don’t use the mousse with the gel? p.s. What I’ve actually found when I’ve used other mousses alone is that there’s just not enough hold. Thanking you in advance for responding.🤗

When I use the mousse and gel together, I get a fluffier look that I enjoy. My hair also dries faster, which is what I'm looking for when I use a mousse. When I use just the gel and leave-in, I get a similar look, but my hair takes longer to dry and my curls are a bit flatter. I may get a little more hold, but because I do my hair twice a week, both get me through the days I need. Hope this hellps. Thanks for tuning in💛

Do you think the same effect would happen with both mousse and creams or do you think it would be a ‘fluffy’ no hold light style?

Have you tried TGIN hair milk? I have low porosity hair and love this product for twist outs and refresher to twist every so many days. I tried Camille rose hair milk and my hair doesn’t like it. Thanks and love your channel!!
