I watched this video after reading the shampoo’s ingredients list on their website. I thought there was a typo cuz there weren’t any surfactants 😩 can’t believe their relying on peppermint oil and menthol to clean the hair🤦🏾‍♀️

The shampoo has always been watery ive bought it twice. It runs down my kids bodies like milk. I normally have to wash with something else first because it really doesn't clean well. But t does help moisture once you get it in there

I had no desire to try the shampoo & conditioner. I really love the leave-in, deep treatment, Twisted Definition and Icing on a Curl

So I brought the entire line to give it a shot...I feel like the shampoo was like a co wash. The conditioner did NOTHING for me. No slip...nothing. But that deep conditioner...idk what is in it but good god. It made up for the sins of the shampoo and conditioner. Then the leave in and the butter for sealing moisture...hair feels amazing.

I'm glad your wash day ended up turning out well. I did a follow up to this video and in the follow up, I state that I like the conditioner, leave in and the deep conditioner. I did not reuse the shampoo or the custard, but I ended up with a nice twist out. Which butter did you use?

This is a fantastic review. I didn't like the Curls Dynasty Shampoo either. The conditioner was a no-go for me as well due to the scent. Their Curls Dynasty styler IS AMAZING though! 100% hands down.

I don't think you are the only person underwhelmed by these products. I have the Kalahari Smoothie Leave - in and it was just meh. For the ingredients and price point, I think we expect to be wowed.

Great, honest review! I love your transparency with this since I did try the deep conditioner and I am now considering trying out the rest of the line. Thank you for posting this :)

Thank you! I'd say, if your hair likes oils then you probably will love this line. My hair just doesn't prefer oils so it didn't work for me as well as I would have liked, but they aren't bad products. Just read the ingredients and see if you think your hair will like them. NaturalRaeRae thanks so much! I have low porosity hair so too many oils usually don’t mean good things for me either. The deep conditioner didn’t have as much slip as I would’ve liked but it wasn’t the worst either. Your review is helpful for this decision though... the hunt continues lol

Hi Miracle! Thanks for watching my video. I try to be as honest as possible when reviewing products because that is what I like. I don't want someone to tell me something works for them when they know it didn't. With that said, if you don't think the products would work for you based on my review, I am glad I could help, but if oils and butters don't bother your hair, then the products may very well work for you. My hair just doesn't do well with a lot of oils and butters packed into one product. Peace and love!
