I suppose you can twirl the ends to look as the end of twist but that's if your hair curls naturally as well. Or using tiny perm rods

Are you supposed to put a ponytail holder on 1st and wrap it around your hair and then tired at the end when I tried it on my daughter hair by the time I was finished and she wore a few days the thread was coming out so how do you get the thread to stay or is it not supposed to stay

it is supposed to stay but if the hair is fine or loosely curled, it may slip off. Putting a rubber band may help.

You can get a good detangling oil or conditioner and undo . More or less when undoing twist locks.
