That is completely down to your interpretation and perspective. I prefer Swinburne's argument but I could argue the strengths and weaknesses of each of the views. Start by asking yourself if God is omnipotent how does that look to you, then which argument is closest to your perspective?

Hi Dimitri, Augustine doesn't really comment on this part of the spec but following Augustine's literal interpretation I would go with Descartes but that is purely my interpretation :)

hi, so if the essay is on omnipotence, do you critique each view with a different view eg critique Vardy by using Descartes view? Thanks :)

Hi Alex, that would work well or you could keep it simple and do a paragraph on each view and evaluate them according to your line of argument. As long as you stick with omnipotence and evaluate fully (not just state the contradicting views of others) it would work well :)
